Amazing food in a cosy, friendly pub. We had braised steak with mash and fresh vegetables and a sirloin steak cooked to perfection. Lovely pub lovely people, will definitely be returning and would highly recommend to all. Dog friendly too.
We had Sunday lunch for 4 of us and the food was gorgeous. I would have marked it 5 stars but the service was slow, we had to ask for menus and then ask again for someone to take our order. However it was New Years Day and the pub was jam packed.
The food is absolutely amazing, and very nice staff, it's the 1st time we've been in
Will definitely go again and again.
Very Nice food, and a perfect pint.
Well done Rose and Crown.
Stunning fish and chips and a tasty pub's-own-label blond ale, served in a proper old country pub with a very warm welcome and the chance to watch dogs chilling out with their owners. It's not posh but it's perfect.
