Sarah's Beauty Supply Store have a great selection to meet your beauty needs and wants. However, the customer service is bitter, cold, demeaning, and non existing unless the cashier lady personally know or like you as it seems. After witnessing a customer walk out the store saying some choice words and without a purchase because of the cashier's subtle & smart responses, I stayed there. I can say the cashier is consistent because when I asked questions I also got similar subtle & smart responses. I looked over and beyond the snap backs because of severe hair loss my NEED for a wig was greater than anything about the cashier. I was not able to make a purchase because when a 25yr old came in loud with "hey girl" and was greeted with a Wendy Williams tone of "o girl what you doing back in here?" It was like I WASN'T

still there and I never existed. I chose to stay, wait and look around as all of the cashier's attention went solely to the 25yr old that wanted atleast 32inches of human hair instead of the 28 inches she already purchased. Now Honestly, I don't want her to loose her job since she's willing to work evidenced by just being there and maybe thats just her personality. I won't say I WILL NEVER go back there, but I dont plan to. Thankfully I found another Beauty Supply store with a greater variety of supplies than Sarah's. A bit unfortunate for me that store is about an hour drive away from Roanoke Rapids. That store have the very same hair piece, but is $30.00 more than at Sarah's. At the other store I did purchase the wig and wig supplies because the customer service was receptive, informative and outstanding! I know many people will express comments because of my review. For me AND me only, it was about the principles and standards of customer relations and just being relatable in general. Since my shopping experience there, I have heard others say they received similar treatment. Go there or not, it's just a chance you take. To the cashier, the community is supporting your store during excruciating financial times, be nice for a few minutes that still makes a difference to some people and it could make the difference of your store being open or closed!

Worst customer service ever!!! Please take that girl off the register, the young guys are so much better. She dont know nothing at all, she's very rude and only help who she wants to help. I ask this chick to see the hair closures she turns around and points at them,instead of her opening the pack so i can see the hair. Smh I won't be back unless she's replaced!

There are only 2 beauty supply stores in the city. I would pick this EVERY TIME!!! They are so helpful everytime I go in there. They have plenty of variety in wigs, braiding hair, and crochet hair. They do not follow you around the store and don't seem to have a problem with you touching the display wigs.

I stopped by this store on a Sunday & was by surprise that they were even open on Sunday pass 5:30 p.m. . I was very impressed by the selection of products that they had to offer. The prices were reasonable & the 2 men that was working was very helpful. I would recommend this hair store to others especially over their overpriced competition JC Mart. I will never spend another dime with JC Mart as long as Sarah's is in business in Roanoke Rapids, NC.

I absolutely love this store. They have a wonderful variety of hair and products to choose from. They have lots of different hair and colors as well. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. The service is great. Every time I go in this store they have something new! I love it!!

The store is dimly lit. It has a large selection of hair for any style however the color choices are basic black and brown (1B,1, and 2). I rarely see any blond, honey blond, Honey Brown, or burgundy hair colors.
