Quick Facts About Anointed Fingers African Hair Braiding Salon
Anointed Fingers African Hair Braiding Salon has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. This suggests that the salon has both strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, multiple comments mention the cleanliness of the salon. A clean environment is crucial for a salon as it promotes a sense of professionalism and hygiene. Additionally, customers appreciate the excellent customer service they receive at Anointed Fingers. Friendly and kind hairstylists, such as Isoken and her daughter, are mentioned, which contributes positively to the overall experience of customers.
Efficiency is another strength mentioned by customers. The salon is praised for being fast and completing hairstyles in a short amount of time. This can be appealing to customers who want to minimize the duration of their salon visits.
Positive reviews also mention the quality of the salon's work. Customers are satisfied with the end results of their hairstyles, indicating that the braiding skills of the staff are commendable.
However, there are several weaknesses mentioned in the comments as well. One recurring theme is issues with the execution of the hairstyles. Customers have reported instances where their braids were not finished properly, leaving gaps or lacking in length. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and precision in the styling process. Additionally, one customer mentioned that their hairstyle did not turn out as desired and called for a refund, but was unable to receive one. This could be seen as a lack of accountability and responsiveness from the salon's management.
Communication and pricing are highlighted as weaknesses too. One customer mentioned that the salon increased the price of the service without prior discussion, causing frustration. Clear communication about pricing and any potential additional charges is essential for customer satisfaction.
There are also reports of unprofessional behavior from staff members. One customer mentioned that a stylist snatched their daughter's phone and hung up during a phone call, indicating rudeness and disrespect. This kind of behavior can greatly affect the overall customer experience and give a negative impression of the salon.
Finally, there are comments that suggest a lack of expertise in certain areas. One customer specifically mentioned that they would not recommend the salon for crochet braids, as their experience was unsatisfactory. This suggests that Anointed Fingers may have weaknesses or limitations in this particular braiding technique.
In conclusion, while Anointed Fingers African Hair Braiding Salon has strengths such as cleanliness, excellent customer service, efficiency, and quality work, there are clear weaknesses in areas such as attention to detail, communication, professionalism, and expertise in certain braiding techniques. Addressing these weaknesses can help improve the overall customer experience and reputation of the salon.

My husband came in for 2 braids and they didn't even braid his hair to the end. We live 10 min from this location and before he got in the driveway he said he felt so much air on his head where the braid should have been that he could feel it coming out. There was an entire rubberband on the braid before the left out part on that 1st braid. Mind you they put another rubberband on to make the "ponytail". I should have called to get a refund but i certainly will never go here again. That was actually his 2nd time and the 1st wasn't impressive either.
ADDED AFTER OWNER REPLIED: You should've took a little more time with proof reading what you wrote before posting because you do sound ignorant. I see a flood of bad reviews, some with pictures, so obviously you don't do perfect hair. You also must not know how Google reviews work because they alert you for places you've been. I actually did see him when he came out, which I didn't have to say for my review to be valid. Your response also proves why we would never do business with your establishment, that was unprofessional.
My hair turned out good and they were fast. My issue was they up my price just before I was done, due to the length, which should have been discussed after I sent the pictures and before I start.
Nice and clean salon. Excellent customer service. The quality of their job is great. You can set appointments or walk-in and they take of your hair.
The service was great. They work together as a team. My hairstylist was kind and nice.. and a great woman… ???????????????? Isoken and her daughter was great and moved fast… will definitely be back for another style
I had an appointment 6am Sunday morning and was done by 930am. Isoken is awesome! She was very nice and patient with me. I am very tender headed and she did her best to keep me relaxed. Isoken along.with her daughter's assistance were quick, precise and diligent in getting my hair done. I will definitely be going back there.
Absolutely love this place! Nowhere else can you go and get braids over dreads and be done in 2 hours Big ups to anointed fingers I will definitely be back ????????????????
Update: I've read her reply and this will be my last reply. You have not taken any responsibility for your workers or your self to medicate the situation as well as other customers that had a bad experience. Don't throw God in a situation to justify your actions. "Do onto others as you would have them do unto you." You are treating customer's concerns as negativity instead as learning experiences. You are not a perfect business and you should strive to be a better business, but don't forget or treat mistakes as insults. Also, you as the owner was not there during the process, so how do you know? I love the Lord as well, but I don't use his bible and teachings to justify my behavior. I pray that you seek wisdom in constructive criticism and improvement in weakened areas. God bless ????.
I can only speak on what I've experienced. I had to buy hair for crotchet and I had to pay for service. In the end, it did not come out right. As soon as I went home, I was going to style my sengalese twists, but I had so many gaps and hair mounted in different places that it was very upsetting. I called the owner back right away, even though she sounded kind, I could not get a refund. I do not want it done over because I expect it to be done right the first time. Another concern is that they kept rotating stylists and one kept referring to how "short" my hair is. I believe that one should be honest if they cant or don't want to do the work, but to keep telling me the obvious is just inconsiderate and unprofessional. I've seen their work on braids and its beautiful, but I would NOT recommend crotchet.
As a last concern, there is a difference between hiding the mistakes and not knowing what you're doing. It seemed fine in the mirror because it was "covered", but as I really lifted it up and looked through there was a lot of issues. So, this is not a hate post, this is a customer concern, so the business can be more knowledgable and honest with customers.
If I could leave this place 1 star I would. I just took my daughter here to get her hair done and when I say it looks as if it is time for her to take it down and she just got it done. Her braided was Victoria and calling her rude would be an understatement. My daughter called me while she was getting her hair braided as I was talking to her Victoria snatched my daughter phone and hung up in my face. I’m assuming that Victoria already knew she was doing a horrible job and was scared that my daughters was going to tell me. Just save yourself some time and head the other way.
