Lovely landlady and landlord and good atmosphere all in all will definitely go more often, as been made so welcome, even though we ain't local just a lovely pub ????
Excellent pub! We tried this pub on Google recommendations while staying at the Riddings Wood Caravan Park and was not disappointed! The Landlord, Landlady and staff were so lovely, they gave the dogs treats, got games out for the children and kept the Guinness coming! Also have a fantastic range of gin and I really enjoyed trying what was available. Thank you for fantastic service, this pub made us determined to visit again ????
Terrible place.. poor hygiene.. staff are rude.. drinks tasted digusting.. would not recommend as owners son is also a person u should avoid
Great Company, great beer and wine. The staff are on the ball and it's always an entertaining evening with Karaoki, Live Bands and themed weekends with lots of fun and laughter ????
Food was excellent, bit pricey at £11. 00 for a burger and 6 or 7 wedges, but the hospitality from Sue was first class, if you are easily offended by language of the more colourful nature then maybe don't take your children when the footballs on, other than this, it's definitely a five star rating from me.
My wife and I were camping down the road and we decided to find a local pub to have an evening meal. They normally only do food on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday but we struck lucky as they have just made Tuesday night Curry night.
The curry was excellent and at only £6 was amazing value. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
We would highly recommend this pub and as a side point the toilets score 10 out of 10.
Lovely little village pub serving a good selection of premium, cheap beer, friendly owners, staff and regulars, dog friendly (as you’ll see by the photo our dog made himself very much at home!) We were also made to feel very welcome by the locals during our holiday whilst staying at Riddingswood campsite literally a 5 minute walk away. Unfortunately didn’t get the opportunity to eat here but did get a Chinese delivered from Fooling recommended by one of the regulars which was really good and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the area.
