2. Wide range of professional barbers: Customers have the option to choose from more than three professional barbers, giving them a variety of choices and ensuring that they can find someone who suits their preferences and needs.
3. Booking appointments available: Due to the popularity of the barbershop and the array of customers, it is recommended to book an appointment. This allows customers to secure a time slot and reduce their waiting time, especially for those who are coming from far distances.
4. Friendly service: Many customers have mentioned the polite and friendly service they received from the barbers, particularly mentioning Sly and Bishop. This creates a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for customers during their visit.
5. Affordable prices: The barbershop offers reasonable prices, with haircuts priced at £12 in August 2019. This affordability makes their services accessible to a wide range of customers.
6. Skillful barbers: Multiple customers have expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the haircuts they received. They praised the accuracy and skill of the barbers, with specific mention of Desme and Bishop.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent treatment: One customer reported experiencing poor treatment from a barber, particularly when requesting a haircut for their 3-year-old son. This inconsistency in service can be frustrating for customers who had negative experiences and may deter them from returning.
2. Long waiting time: Several customers commented on the long waiting hours at Sly Barbers London. This can be a significant drawback for customers who are seeking a quick and efficient haircut, and may discourage those who value their time from visiting the barbershop.
3. Prioritization of customers: One comment suggests that certain customers may be prioritized over others based on their race. The customer felt that they were treated unfairly because they were the only white person present. This issue of perceived bias may be a concern for some potential customers.
4. Limited availability: One customer mentioned that the barber they wanted was not available on their second visit. This highlights a potential issue with the availability and scheduling of the barbers, which may lead to inconvenience for customers who have specific preferences.
In conclusion, Sly Barbers London has several strengths, including their community involvement, range of professional barbers, booking options, friendly service, and affordable prices. However, there are weaknesses in inconsistent treatment, long waiting times, perceived prioritization of certain customers, and limited availability. These aspects should be taken into consideration when evaluating the overall strengths and weaknesses of the barbershop.

Best TL Reviews

Local barbershop that has united and helped the community not just by cutting hair but by teaching and educating young youths. Always a pleasure. You have options of More than 3 professional barbers. I would recommend booking an appointment due to the array of customers, especially those coming from far.
Keep up the good work.
I took my 3 year old son , not so sure if it is the owner of the barbers or not but he did not treat us right twice. First time because my son was just from nursery despite that his first hair cut , he fell asleep during the service and for that i spoke to the barber cutting his hair about coming in next day, next day the barbers was not in . I waited for an hour and still the barbers were debating on who to cut my sons hair. I felt frustrated and left. Next time i found the barber that cut my sons hair , he did it and did not even complain. He treated my son so well. The third time i went back the boss was around and even before he cut my sons hair , he was complaining already. Personally poor service and long waitint time!
I went once there, I was waiting for ages to cut my hair. There was people coming after me and the barbers was like oh they are before you. I think it’s because I was the only one white there!
I visited Sly's Barber shop this morning.
Polite friendly service from Sly & Bishop who were working when I was there, you can get a cup of tea around the corner and wait on the alfresco seats outside the barbers.
It's a no frills neighbourhood barber's (situated within Crisp Street Market) specialising in all types of hair. Afro, European and Asian. There's a democratic numbered ticket queue system, you get your ticket and wait. It can be sometime because they are popular and busy, especially at the start of the school term. Prices are pretty reasonable £12 (2019 August). If you are in a rush you can book a time slot in advance for £25.
If you want to jump the queue the tax is £40.
They open at 730am (arrange in advance) and for the early morning slots there's a £5 surcharge. Not bad if you want a shape up before leaving for the city.
One of the best Haircuts I ever had! Bishop was amazing! Affordable!
Would visit again!
Only a word, PERFECT!
Every time I'm scared to cut my hair in a new place, but I have finally found THE place. Very accurate and friendly, Desme will cut your hair in the exact style that you want. Great prices, i'll come back for sure.
Got recommended by a friend at work about Slys Barber shop. I went there after work. Friendly environment with some awesome hip hop playing. Got an awesome fade and haircut with beard trim. Prices are very fair and the haircut was awesome. Sly took his time and got me an epic fade on sides zero up. Defo using this barber for future haircuts. Defo recommended. Thanks.
Fun people, fun environment. The only thing that annoys me is the long waiting hours. You need to be there at 9 am if your trying to get a haircut first
