Quick Facts About Stoke Cafe

Stoke Cafe has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to properly evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the cafe, we will analyze each aspect mentioned in the comments.
Food: Several customers have praised the food at Stoke Cafe, describing it as lovely, delicious, and freshly cooked. One customer specifically mentioned that it was the best full English breakfast they had had in a long time. This positive feedback indicates that the cafe excels at providing quality food that is enjoyed by customers.
However, there are also negative comments regarding the food. One customer complained about the baguette having too much mayo and lettuce with hardly any chicken. Another customer had a negative experience with the oatcake, describing it as rubbery and choking on it. These comments suggest that there may be inconsistencies in the preparation of certain dishes, resulting in a lack of quality control.
Service: The staff at Stoke Cafe received positive feedback from a customer who described them as really nice. This indicates that the cafe has friendly and welcoming employees who provide good customer service.
However, a negative comment indicates that the customer experienced poor service when they had an issue with the food. The comment states that the customer received "absolutely shocking" service and that the cafe has no consideration for customers. This suggests that there may be a lack of responsiveness and problem-solving skills among the staff.
Value for Money: A few customers mentioned that Stoke Cafe offers good value for money. One customer specifically mentioned that the breakfast baps were tasty and came at a reasonable price. This indicates that the cafe provides customers with affordable options that are worth the price.
However, another customer mentioned that they found a better cafe with better value for money around the corner. This suggests that some customers may not feel that Stoke Cafe offers the best value for their money compared to other establishments in the area.
Payment Options: One positive aspect mentioned is that Stoke Cafe only accepts cash. While this may be seen as a limitation for some customers, it is mentioned that there is a cash machine close by, which mitigates the issue. This shows that the cafe has taken steps to ensure that customers can easily access cash if needed.
Opening Hours and Menu Options: A couple of negative comments mentioned that Stoke Cafe seems to close early at times. This indicates that the cafe may have limited hours of operation, potentially inconveniencing some customers who may want to visit later in the day.
Additionally, one comment mentioned that Stoke Cafe does not offer hot chocolate with their breakfast, unlike another cafe around the corner that does. This may be seen as a limitation for customers who prefer hot chocolate over tea or coffee.
Overall, based on the comments provided, Stoke Cafe has several strengths, including delicious food, friendly staff, and good value for money. However, there are also weaknesses, such as inconsistencies in food preparation, poor service in addressing customer complaints, limited opening hours, and a lack of menu options like hot chocolate with breakfast. By addressing these weaknesses, Stoke Cafe can enhance its strengths and improve the overall customer experience.

The food was lovely ???? and delicious, the place was quite and staffs were really nice. Sure a great place for breakfast. They only accept cash but there is cash machine close by so it's no problem ????. Will definitely be coming back.
Good food. Freshly cooked. Good value. Best full English I've had for a long time.
Absolutely shocking, baguette we ordered was mainly mayo and lettuce hardly any chicken, oatcake was like a brick with hardly any cheese, jacket potato was shocking milkshakes had separated and tasted vile we rang up and the service we got was absolutely shocking have no consideration for customers
My god, Iv never had a rubber oatcake before, seriously what cheese do they use it was a hard rubbery mess. I literally chocked on it. It was like pizza cheese we rolled it up into a ball ????
We’ve ordered breakfast baps from here a few times now. Quick delivery, very hot, tasty bacon n sosig bap and sosig n egg bap - lovely fresh big baps too!
Seems to be closed early a lot and don't offer a hot chocolate with their breakfast but they do tea/coffee.
I have now found a better cafe around the corner that opens earlier, closes later and offers hot chocolate with their breakfast as well as just better value for money. I will now regular at the London Cafe
Beautiful food with a lively atmosphere. Definitely a must if in the area :)
My first visit with some friends who'd been before. I chose a baked potato with bacon and cheese. It came with a small side salad too. The potato was baked beautifully and the skin was not tough and neither was the bacon overcooked. I sent back a clean, empty plate. I also enjoyed a cappuccino. The price was right too. Yes I'd visit there again.
