Best TL Reviews
I usually get my nails done in south Lincoln, but found myself in this area today and chose Sue's because it had such a high rating.
The rating is definitely deserved. Sue, herself, did my nails and they turned out great. The place is nice and there is a great selection of colors.
The best part for me was that Sue was so joyful and seemed to enjoy doing nails. I am looking forward to coming back next time.
I was recommended “Sue’s Nails” by a friend and I’m very glad I was! Sue is actually who did my nails and she did great. Her station/shop are cute and clean! She even has free drinks. I got adorable pink and white dip nails, and they turned out BEAUTIFUL. I’m very happy with them and will definitely be going back to Sue!!
Sue was so sweet and professional! She is so talented and my nails came out better than i could have ever expected. It was a special experience for my daughter and i! Can't wait to come back in for a fill ????
11/18/2019 update: I was unfaithful and have been going to a different salon. I went back to Sue's today and WOW. Suffice it to say I am back home. I absolutely love them! Perfect length, even design and she won't let you spend more than what you have or have done in the past. I let her know that the last salon said next time I come we would do a dip. She said no. Basically, she's not going to put you in a bind and cause you a hardship or spend more than what you need. She is always professional, caring and is always confident in her design ability. Thanks Sue. Again, I am sorry for being unfaithful.
My niece told me about Sue years ago and I never went. I'm really getting back into getting my nails done and have tried a few shops. Quite honestly, I wasn't impressed. I am very finicky about my nails. I don't do acrylic since they came out with shalac. I love that stuff! Another shop said they can do acrylic with shalac and I said ok. Polish didn't last long, maybe a week. Then I went to another shop and they said the same and I was ok, but I need my cuticles cleaned up. He told me they don't do that anymore. He got started and still hadn't touched my cuticles so I mentioned it again, sorry. That's when he told me that nthey don't do that anymore and when they put the acrylic on and file the top of the nail that that takes care of cuticles. Not cool. Then he had me wash my hands, no soap. All shops are that way now but normally you wash before putting polish on. Yep, no he did not. Ok, enough of that. I went to the next shop and they did a decent job on my cuticles and they nail polish/design was ok. I went back the 2nd time and was like you changed the shop around and she looked at me crazy and said no they didn't. I'm crazy ya'll but not that crazy. Ok, decent on the cuticles, again. I wanted to get my feet done and went to Sue's. She's right close and I just about went to sleep! So it's time to get my nails done again and I decide to try Sue's. hey gave me length with only saying I need them cut short. Not short because I type all day and hate the sound of the clicking my nails make hitting the keys. Check. I previously had the acrylic taken off and just my natural nail and they were sharp. I told her I wanted acrylic and shalac and told her about my cuticles. Y'all she took my hands and examined them. Her professional opinion was no acrylic just shalac and that my nails only needed better shaping. What, who does that? I sat down and one of the girls went to work. About 45 minutes later I walked out with a purplish color with white lines and glitter in between, short nails that look very nice and my cuticles look AWESOME! And I don't have product dried on my skin anywhere. Ohh , I forgot. When I went to get my feet done they stayed past closing time. I didn'teven pay attention to the time just walked in a c she accepted my business. I know shops around here some are quick to lock that door or set a specific time that they will take a client. Not Sue, she was like come on in. Want your nails done right? Go to Sue's. 8/25/2018, on my 3rd visit to Sue's and I just feel like royalty the way they treat me! Today I found out that my nail tech has the same name. I'm stuck at Sue's and everyone would do them selves a serious justice by going there.
12/17, Sue's Nail and Spa did it again!
Sue is amazing! She is the best for a reason. Clean, friendly, relaxed and always making improvements to please her guests. I love that Sue is there and she is both kind and creative! She made my nails nicer and healthier and no hot spots!!! I highly recommend a gel color change for your toes by Tammy or your eyebrows by Tan!!!! All amazing and skilled! I have been other places and they are the best HANDS DOWN! ; )
I went in to get a French manicure and the gal who did my nails was great! I didn’t get her name but my nails turned out exactly how I wanted them. Very pleased with the service she provided and will definitely will be coming back more often :)
Went to Sue’s for a pedicure and after a couple years of trying to find a good nail salon I won’t go anywhere else again. Sue took her time and made sure everything was perfect and that I enjoyed myself. Even offered me a warm neck pillow to relax and allowed me to let my toes dry while finishing my book in the pedicure chair. I’d give them 100 stars if I could. Will definitely be back. Thanks, Sue!
They stayed open way past closing time for walk ins. The lady did a lot more thorough job than other places. They turned out beautiful and although I dont go to nail salons often I know where to go next time ????
