Sylvia and the other ladies are great. The listen to the customers wants and take their time when braiding your hair. They always are good about explaining the process to my daughter and are very kind to her. They remember she is a child and treat her as such. The prices are fair and the shop is clean. We've used Sylvia several times, we never have a problem and always leave as satisfied customers.
I brought my daughter to the shop for the first time, and everyone was very friendly and professional. They did a great job on her hair. I will definitely be using this shop in the future.

This was my first time here.. I had a 10am appointment today, they didn't start on my hair until 10:25 because they was eating. I didn't get finished until almost 5pm. They spray you with some type of disinfectant when you walk through the door without you even really knowing. They say they spray you because of the pandemic but my issue is only one of them was wearing a mask the right way, the other one didn't have one on, and the three others wasn't wearing their mask the proper way. I wanted goddess box braids/bohemian braids and I cannot tell you what's in my head. At first they wasn't putting in enough curly hair then it was too much curly hair then it wasn't enough. The back of my hair have too much curly hair and the front doesn't have enough . I told the lady not to put so much in the front because she was putting in too much at first by putting the curly hair on every braid. I showed them pictures of how I wanted it..Also my braids in the back is smaller than the ones in the front. My braids are
neat this is just not how I wanted my hair to look. I had to cut some of the curly hair out. Also the old lady got mad because I told her my hair wasn't done right. She is the person that did the front.
Great workers and environment Sylvia is a wonderful lady. Whenever l want to get braids Sylvia's is my go to. I enjoy my visits and getting my praise on all in one setting it's a beautiful experience ????????
Love the ladies here at Sylvia's just wished they spoke English more and talk to customers for the time you have to sit there to get served.
