Quick Facts About Tammy Nails & Salon

Tammy Nails & Salon has received a mix of positive and negative feedback from customers. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, let's break down the comments provided.
Starting with the positive comments, one customer praises the salon for their attention to detail and customization. Tammy, the nail technician, did a great job shaping the customer's real nails and paying attention to little details. This indicates that the salon employs skilled technicians who can provide personalized services. Additionally, this customer highly recommends Tammy's Nails, indicating strong customer satisfaction and the likelihood of repeat business.
Another positive comment comes from a loyal customer who has been visiting Tammy and Andy for years. They speak highly of the salon, mentioning that they always do a wonderful job and have become friends over the years. This shows that the salon has built strong relationships with their customers and provides consistent quality service.
On the other hand, several negative comments highlight the weaknesses of Tammy Nails & Salon. One customer, who was visiting the area, expressed disappointment in the overall condition of the salon. They describe it as dirty and uncared for, both inside and outside. The customer mentions the need for a deep cleaning, including the acrylic panels, floors, and various scattered items. They emphasize the importance of a clean and relaxing environment for the spa experience. This indicates that the salon lacks proper cleanliness and organization, which can be off-putting to customers.
Another negative comment focuses on a specific technician named Steven. The customer describes him as unprofessional and rude, citing instances where he provided poor service and displayed disrespectful behavior. This highlights the issue of inconsistent service quality within the salon. While some technicians may be capable and friendly, others may not meet customers' expectations or treat them appropriately.
Additionally, another customer mentions a technician who acted annoyed throughout the service and caused physical discomfort by cutting their cuticles too aggressively. This indicates a lack of professionalism and attention to customer comfort, which can negatively impact the overall experience.
Lastly, one customer expresses their dissatisfaction with the salon, labeling it as the worst nail shop they have ever been to. They describe the store as nasty and criticize the aggressive behavior of an older lady who did their feet. The customer also mentions the poor quality of the polish and feeling overcharged. This comment suggests that there might be inconsistency in the skills and behavior of the salon's staff, leading to negative experiences for some customers.
In summary, the strengths of Tammy Nails & Salon include the ability to provide custom and attention-to-detail services, maintaining long-term relationships with loyal customers, and offering natural-looking powder dipped nails. However, the weaknesses of the salon include a lack of cleanliness and organization, inconsistent service quality among technicians, and instances of unprofessional and rude behavior. Improving on these weaknesses can help the salon attract and retain more customers.

Best TL Reviews

Came in as a walk-in for a soak off and dip polish reapply. Tammy did a custom blend of colors to resemble what I was wearing when I came in and got VERY close! She made them thin like I like them and did a great job shaping my real nails, very close attention to little details. I will definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend Tammy's Nails!
I was in town visiting family and wanted a mani/pedi…. Tammy’s was recommended. Firstly, I was very disappointed in the condition of the business. Inside and outside. It felt dirty and uncared for…everything needs a deep cleaning, from the acrylic panels they have between you and the technician for the pedicures to the manicures…all of which were splattered with who knows what, and looked like they have not been cleaned since Covid started..…to piles of stuff scattered about, looking unkempt. Everything just looked dirty. Floors needed cleaning. The outside was just as bad. Even the massage controllers for the spa pedicures were greasy looking and gross. There were only 3 people working, it was quiet and felt odd. When you pay so much for these services, you want the “spa experience “ to be relaxing and enjoyable. Unfortunately, I just wanted to get out of there. The mani/pedi itself wasn’t bad and they did an ok job, but not worth the $90 I paid with tip. :( I hate leaving bad reviews for a local business, but if they want to stay in business, they need to up their game and act like they care about it to attract customers.
I have used Tammy and Andy faithfully for years. They always do a wonderful job and have become friends over the years. I look forward to my visits there every 2 weeks!
Steven was my nail tech, and he is the most unprofessional and rudest person I have encountered lately. I went in to get dip, and he didn't speak. He filed a bowl partially with acetone barely enough for me to soak my nails. He slammed the bowl down and walked off. I asked the other gentleman did he put that there for me because he didn't say anything. Then my hands begin to get sticky, and I told him so I took my hands out the bowl because the soaked off dip was all over my hand like dried glue. He said why didn't I tell him to put more acetone well I feel this is not my job. Then at the end of the service he asked me why was I staring at my nails nothing is wrong with them, well that's for me to decide if I like them. I don't think he did a terrible job, but I won't be treated like trash. This was my first and last time visiting. And they don't have much of a selection to choose from in dipping.
Technician acted annoyed the whole time- hurt my toe cutting cuticles and rolled her eyes and shook her head after I said Ouch .polish not smooth on big toe
Loved it!! My daughter (4) and I got manicures and pedicures for a mommy and me day! They were so nice and made her feel so comfortable! We will be back!
I was a walk-in on 12/10/21. I asked if it is possible to give me the powder dip finger nails to "look like my natural nails" without looking thick and bulky. Andy said: "I can do it!"
My nails look and feel like my natural fingernails. Simply gorgeous!! Wow!!
Tammy Nail Salon is the BOMB if you want beautiful, realistic looking nails via powder dipping. Don't ever settle for those fake looking powder dipped fingernails. They aren't worth $5.00! People will claim they look good, but you know and I know they DO NOT! They look much better and feel much better than acrylic fingernails too.
Go see Andy for TOP NOTCH, natural looking, powder dipped fingernails.
