Lovely coastal views and walks along the pebble beach. On a clear evening you can see very a dramatic sunset over the sea. Worth walking out on The Spit when the tide is out and looking back at the beach huts for a different and colourful perspective on the slopes. Accessible walks into Whitstable or towards Herne Bay. Plenty of free parking along the road and public toilets at regular intervals.
Nice place for a stroll along the promenade. If you are there at low tide try taking a walk down "the street" which is a shingle bank exposed at low tide going out to sea for quite a way but be watchful for the tide turning!
Great place to walk and cycle. It's a rocky beach, but one can have a picnic. There is a restroom facility and benches up on the slope. Great place to view sunrises and sunsets. Usually always quite windy.
Nice beach for a walk with amazing views. Parking on the road is free, and there are wheel chair accessible paths along the sea side. There are a lot of very pretty beach huts
