Another strength mentioned is the variety and quality of the food. Customers have enjoyed a range of options including fry-ups, sandwiches, panini, jacket potatoes, cake, and homemade soup. The food is described as tasty and good value for money. This indicates that the cafe is able to cater to different preferences and dietary needs, providing a satisfying dining experience for a diverse range of customers.
The fact that The Coffee Stop is dog-friendly is also mentioned as a strength. Customers appreciate being able to bring their dogs inside the cafe and not having to leave them in the car. This sets the cafe apart from other places in town that do not allow dogs, making it a desirable choice for dog owners.
Convenience is another strength of The Coffee Stop. It is located next to the bus station, making it a convenient place for people to stop and have a cup of tea while waiting for their bus. In conclusion, The Coffee Stop has several strengths including friendly staff, tasty and varied food options, dog-friendliness, convenience, and cleanliness. These strengths contribute to a positive overall experience for customers. However, there are a few areas for improvement such as increasing seating comfort and maintaining consistent food quality. By addressing these weaknesses, The Coffee Stop can further enhance its reputation and attract more satisfied customers.

We had coffees, lemon tea with trifle and tray bakes. The lady serving was very pleasant. We sat in the window and watched the people pass by. Would go back next time I am in Berwick
DOG FRIENDLY
Fantastic value, tasty food (fry ups but also an assortment of sandwiches, panini, jacket potatoes, cake), but the real star of the show is the hospitality. We got a very friendly welcome as soon as we arrived, table service, and flexibility with the menu to accommodate my desire for haggis on a small breakfast! Clearly a popular spot for locals of all walks of life - families, solo diners, couples, seniors - and our dogs were welcome to sit in with us rather than having to wait in the car, which is a BIG plus for us (surprised how few places in town are dog friendly).
Will definitely be stopping in again. Thank you ????
Great place! Would definitely go again. Convenient when wait for the bus too. ????☕️
7 of us arrived (inc 5 kids) grateful to get us all seated. 7 empty plates when we left and all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. My wife loved her Earl Grey tea. Will return. Many thanks
Nice little cafe with friendly and polite staff and decent prices. I've been there a couple of times, mostly just to sit in and have a cup of tea whilst I wait for my coach, as it's right next to the bus station. I had food there twice and I think it's a little hit and miss. It can get a bit busy in there but there's quite a few seats so whenever I've never been worried about not getting a seat. The only thing I wish is that the seats were a bit more comfortable.
Some good veggie options, efficient polite service. Really enjoyed the haloumi flatbread.
We got slightly stranded in Berwick and after searching most of the town this was one of the only open restaurants. Enjoyed their homemade soup and partner liked his toastier. Cute and quaint surprise.
Lovely cafe and staff. Very clean. Good choice of food and drink. Recommended. Thank you. Carole & Phil
