Quick Facts About The Country Kitchen N The Corner
The Country Kitchen N The Corner place has received mixed reviews from customers, as evident from the comments above. In this analysis, the strengths and weaknesses of the restaurant will be discussed based on the comments provided.
One of the main strengths highlighted by several customers is the affordability and value for money offered by the restaurant. The $10 deal, which includes a main course, three sides, bread, dessert, and a drink, is considered as an amazing deal by one customer. The portions are mentioned to be large, and some customers even had to take their leftovers home. This affordability combined with generous portions makes it an attractive option for customers looking for a filling meal at a reasonable price.
The service at The Country Kitchen N The Corner place is praised by many customers, who mention that the staff is friendly and provides good hospitality. One customer specifically mentions the pleasant hospitality experienced at the restaurant. This positive customer service is important in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for customers.
Alongside these strengths, several weaknesses are also evident from the comments. One criticism raised by a customer is the confusion caused by the cafeteria-style setup of the restaurant. This could indicate that the layout and flow of the restaurant may not be clear, leading to potential confusion for first-time customers. This is a weakness that the restaurant should address in order to improve customer experience.
The taste and quality of the food receive mixed reviews. While some customers enjoy the food and describe it as delicious, others express disappointment. One customer mentions that the food was bland and not appealing, particularly highlighting issues with the cornbread muffins, yams, mac and cheese, and smothered pork chops. Another customer finds the taste of the greens, rice and gravy to be horrible. These negative reviews on the taste and quality of the food suggest that the restaurant may have inconsistencies in the preparation or seasoning of their dishes. This is a weakness that the restaurant should address by ensuring consistent quality across all their menu items.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the limited choices for non-pork eaters. This suggests that the restaurant may not have a diverse range of options to cater to different dietary preferences. Expanding their menu to include more variety for customers with dietary restrictions would be a possible improvement.
While some customers praise the food, others criticize specific dishes, such as the smothered pork chops, which are described as tasting old and burnt. This indicates that there may be potential inconsistencies in the preparation and cooking of certain dishes.
Overall, The Country Kitchen N The Corner place has strengths such as affordability, large portions, and good customer service. However, weaknesses such as confusion due to the cafeteria-style setup, inconsistencies in taste and quality, and limited choices for non-pork eaters are also evident. Addressing these weaknesses will be crucial for the restaurant to improve and provide a more consistent and satisfying dining experience for all customers.

If you're looking for some pretty good affordable soul food, this is the place. Everything was great! This place is cafeteria styled which i didn't know, so when i walked in, i was a little confused about the flow of things. I got in line to get my food and i was shocked by the AMAZING deal they have. You get your main course, three sides (yes 3 sides), bread, dessert, and a drink for $10. They also serve big portions so I had to take the rest home. The service was good as well. I will definitely be back!
Food was delicious and service was awesome. This was my first time at this location, but I’ve been to the County Line location in the past many times. I ordered 4 plates here for my family and everyone enjoyed it.
The food was bland not very good for soul food. Was not hot warm and the look was not appealing. The sweet tea was good. Not sure if I could get just 1 meat and 2 sides at a cheaper price. I don't eat pork so the choices was limited on the side. I want visit again just my take on the food.
They food today was eatable, but I wont say good. The cornbread muffins were heavy and packy. The yams were tart. The mac and cheese was loaded with way too much black pepper. The smothered pork chops had a twang. The steamed broccoli was tart and could only eat the florets because the stems were not chewable. The fried okra was great. Cabbage was pretty good and mashed potatoes of course were instant and there was not doubt, but I'm okay with instant, though I prefer real. Maybe they just had an off day. Ill try another time.
Smothered pork chops taste old and burnt. The greens and rice and gravy had no season and tasted horrible. Porks chop was in little pieces like they gave me what was left over from yesterday.
Holy cow this place is GREAT! Best Salisbury steak, Mac n cheese, and lima beans I've ever had! The pecan pie style cobbler was amazing! They cook to order fresh so don't think this is fast food. It is QUALITY food so well worth the short wait. Or, just call your order in advance. A++++++ restaurant!
Huge portions. Great tasting southern food. Wonderful service.
Food is always great!! I love it here and the hospitality is always pleasant.❤
