Quick Facts About The Edinburgh

The Edinburgh place, based on the comments provided, has several strengths. One of its strengths is the variety of seating areas available for customers. This allows patrons to find a comfortable and secluded spot to enjoy their time at the pub. Another strength highlighted by the comments is the pub's selection of beers. A good selection of beers is often appreciated by customers, as it caters to a wide range of tastes and preferences.
The comments also mention the pub's atmosphere, with one customer noting that it is nice to spend time in a proper pub rather than a bar. This suggests that The Edinburgh place has successfully created a traditional and authentic pub atmosphere, which is appreciated by its patrons. Additionally, the comment stating that the staff is brilliant implies that the pub has attentive and friendly employees, contributing to a positive customer experience.
The pub is also commended for being a community establishment. It is mentioned that it attracts a mix of locals, including football fans when marine play. This suggests that The Edinburgh place is well-integrated into the local community and actively engages with local events and activities. This contributes to a vibrant and lively atmosphere, particularly during sporting events.
Furthermore, the pub is noted for offering competitive prices. Providing drinks at a decent price is often an attractive feature for customers, as it allows them to enjoy their experience without breaking the bank. This can contribute to customer loyalty and repeat visits.
Despite these strengths, there are also weaknesses that should be addressed. One comment suggests that The Edinburgh place has a clique-like atmosphere, with regular customers potentially viewing newcomers as second-class citizens. This implies that the pub may not be as welcoming to new or occasional visitors, which can be off-putting for potential customers. To counteract this, the pub should strive to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all patrons.
Another criticism voiced in the comments is that the pub can get crowded and cramped. While a busy atmosphere can add to the vibrancy and energy of a pub, it is important to ensure that there is enough space for customers to move around comfortably. This may involve optimizing the layout of the pub or implementing measures to manage the crowd during peak times.
Finally, one comment suggests that there were incidents of verbal abuse by both customers and staff. This is a serious concern and can greatly impact the reputation and customer satisfaction of the pub. It is crucial for the management to establish and enforce a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment or mistreatment. Proper staff training, monitoring, and customer feedback mechanisms should be in place to address and prevent such incidents from occurring.
In conclusion, The Edinburgh place demonstrates several strengths including its variety of seating areas, good selection of beers, and a pleasant atmosphere. However, there are also weaknesses that need to be addressed, such as a potentially exclusive atmosphere and incidents of verbal abuse. By addressing these weaknesses and strengthening their strengths, The Edinburgh place can further improve its reputation and customer satisfaction.

Best TL Reviews

Good pub this, lots of little areas to sit. Good selection of beers.
Really nice spending time in a proper pub, instead of a bar, for a change.
Brilliant pub
Brilliant staff
Brilliant company
Can't ask for anymore
Clique central and if you are not a regular regular then you are a second class citizen. Was moaned at for watching a TV in a pub of all places just because they wanted to listen to music when they could have gone into town to listen to live music for beatles week were told to move into another room even though we were there first. Not everyone wants to listen to music people want to watch TV and have a conversation in a chilled environment but unlikely on this wannabe cheers environment. Unless you want to be verbally abused by customers and staff then avoid at all costs. Disgusting lost custom and no need for it at all as other places treat us with respect. The regular regulars treat it as if they own the place. It's ok when local teams like Liverpool and Everton are playing but normal TV is not allowed I wonder what people do in thier own houses sit and read?
Great community pub does very well aided by being on the popular college Road and gets lots of football fans in when marine play plus a mix of mainly mature locals. Thus a great atmosphere with a choice of 3 rooms to relax in and several TVs though it can get a bit cramped. Prices very competitive too.
More local and less touristy and none the worse for it. Good beer, friendly staff and a decent price. What else do you want !
Staff lovely. Other customers really friendly. Great choice of drinks and lovely atmosphere
Always busy local boozer . Good range of beers/ spirits.
