Quick Facts About The Green

The Green place has several strengths that make it a highly recommended cafe. One of the main strengths is the quality of the food and coffee. Multiple comments mention that the food is really good, the sandwiches are always of a good standard, and the veggie breakfast is lovely. This consistent quality of the food is a major strength of The Green Place, as it ensures that customers will have a positive dining experience.
Another strength of The Green Place is its dog-friendly policy. Customers appreciate the fact that the staff gives dogs food and lots of attention. This shows that the cafe values its customers and their pets, which creates a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. The Green Place is even referred to as "exceptional" for providing dogs with a bowl of chicken and water on arrival. This dog-friendly policy sets The Green Place apart from other cafes and draws in customers who want to bring their furry friends along.
The team at The Green Place is also highly praised for their friendliness and great service. Comments mention that the staff is fantastic, couldn't do enough for the customers, and served them quickly. This kind of attentive and friendly service is crucial in creating a positive dining experience and ensuring that customers feel valued and well taken care of. The staff's commitment to providing great service is a significant strength of The Green Place.
The atmosphere of The Green Place is consistently mentioned as being great and lovely. Customers describe it as cozy, friendly, and first class. This positive atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience and makes customers feel comfortable and relaxed. The comments also mention that the cafe is clean, which is another important aspect of creating a pleasant atmosphere. A clean and inviting environment contributes to the overall positive impression of The Green Place.
In terms of weaknesses, there are only a few minor issues mentioned in the comments. One comment mentions that the menu is not overly large, but it is still described as having plenty of choices for both mains and sandwiches. While a larger menu might offer even more options for customers, it does not seem to be a major drawback.
Another comment mentions that there is plenty of space outside to dine and store bikes, but does mention that the cafe only has cover in case of rain. This could potentially be seen as a weakness for customers who prefer to have sheltered outdoor seating options, especially during inclement weather.
Overall, The Green Place has numerous strengths that make it a highly recommended cafe. The quality of the food and coffee, the dog-friendly policy, the friendly and attentive staff, and the great atmosphere all contribute to the positive dining experience. The few weaknesses mentioned, such as the limited menu and lack of complete outdoor cover, seem to be minor issues in comparison to the overall positive feedback. The Green Place seems to have created a winning combination that keeps customers coming back and makes it a regular spot for many.

Great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff, dog friendly and always give dogs a bowl of chicken and water on arrival which is exceptional. Cannot fault this place at all, will make this our regular. Nice and clean. Plenty of choice of food, delicious cakes. My sister and I and her little dog were very happy here.
Enjoyed our Christmas Dinner very much.Everything was piping hot, plentiful and very well presented. The service was very good and the staff lovely. A lovely cosy atmosphere made our afternoon a very pleasant experience.
Great menu. Not overly large, several mains, a large selection of sandwiches, paninis etc and good choices for kids. The coffee is really good and staff very accomodating. Rear terrace area has lots of tables and is very shielded from wind etc. Large gazebo to sit under with another two being delivered today. Will definitely visit again.
Absolutely stunning. Service, first class, food first class, atmosphere first class. Well worth a visit if you haven't already ???? definitely going back. Maybe try the gorgeous looking afternoon tea!
First time here today with our dog and 5 year old niece. The staff were lovely and bonus is that dogs can be inside and out. We sat inside as it was too hot outside and the staff served us really quickly, they even brought out some chicken for our dog who was super happy. The food was lovely and the portion sizes are spot on. Can’t wait to visit again.
Stopped off here a couple of times for breakfast on our group bike ride. Plenty of space outside to dine and store our bikes and it's got cover should it rain!
A nice selection of breakfast and cake. A prompt service.
