While the comments overwhelmingly highlight the strengths of The Live and Let Live, there were a few minor weaknesses mentioned:
Dog-friendliness: One comment mentioned that the pub is dog-friendly only in the small bar area, excluding the dining room. This inconvenience forced the visitor to leave their dog in the car. The bar staff tried to assist by suggesting a move to the dog-friendly area, but the landlady did not permit it. This could be seen as a weakness for dog-owning visitors.
Limited dog-friendly area: Another visitor mentioned that the pub only allows dogs in a small bar area, restricting their access to other parts of the pub. This limitation may be disappointing for visitors looking to enjoy a meal or drink with their pets.
These weaknesses, however, appear to be minimal and do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience at The Live and Let Live. The strengths of the pub, including excellent service, delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and positive recommendations, far outweigh these few criticisms. The Live and Let Live seems to be a highly recommended country pub where visitors can enjoy good food, a relaxing atmosphere, and friendly service.

We had lunch there today on local recommendation, 10/10 for service food and having a nice relaxing atmosphere. The burger was amazing, the photo doesn't do it justice
Good ales and lovely hearty food.
We visited the pub from the Far Forest with a few of our Neighbours and the food and experience didn’t disappoint.
The old beams and open fireplaces make this a very cozy country pub
Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food reasonably priced.
I would and have recommend to others!
A really great pub! An exceptional team, who could not have done more to make us all (dog included) feel very welcome. We did not have a reservation to eat but even though the pub was busy, a table was found and the food was delicious. Thank you very much and we will be back again soon!
Met up for an impromptu family get together. The pub is dog friendly but only in the small bar. Unfortunately we were apparently in the dining room so had to leave the dog in the car. The bar staff were great and helpful though, just a shame the landlady wouldn't allow the dog where no one was eating. To be fair she did try to help us move to where the dog was allowed.
Lovely pub with cosy atmosphere and fabulous food! Loved it so much, we went back for second visit during our stay in the area. Would highly recommend, Di's homemade pies are amazing! ????
Have to say what a nice little pub. We were staying locally and after a 9 mile hike we stopped for a few drinks.
The Air bnb we were staying in didn't ha e any pint glasses, I asked the landlord if we could borrow 3 and then bring them back in the morning. He had no issues at all with it.
The Ale was very clean and tasted great as did the local cider.
I dropped the glasses back the next morning. Thanks
A lovely country pub with amazing views, a lush garden, a great selection of ales beers ciders etc. and amazing food. Check out Di's pies they're ace, proper pies, not stew with a flaky top.
We had a cricket dinner here for around 24 people. All the food was lovely and well presented. Everyone enjoyed the event. We'd recommend The Live and Let Live.
