i would make this a 0 star if i could, i put my trust to get my haircut from silva, my last guy that used to work here doesn't work there anymore and ive been going to shape up since june, and i show silva a video and picture of how i wanted it cut, the length on the top, and guess what, he didnt do anything i asked for , he seemed to rush through my hair and make every single thing uneven , i asked for a low taper with 1 inch off the top and he gave me 2 inches off the top and didnt even give me a low taper, i paid $40 for this atrocious cut when ive been paying $25 for the past visits i came to this barber shop. shouldnt be in business if theyre just going to hire people off the street.
This barber shop is amazing. A different barber had screwed up my haircut. That other barber gave me a line in the middle of my fade. Then that other barber tried to fix it by giving me an uneven fade. I was unsatisfied. So I went to The Shape Up Barber Shop to save my fade. Eric knew exactly how to fix it. He was patient and expertly fixed my fade. This shop is great, I highly recommend you come here.
Took my two boys here this week and we had a great time. Haircuts were sharp, professionally done, and the environment was super fun with lots of talk about sports and such. Had a great time with both customers and staff. We will be back!
I came here looking to get a specific haircut with a photo for reference , but didn't get anything that I was expecting to get. The barbershop was clean and cool with all the TVs and movies playing, but my haircut was not great at all. I asked for a specific style that typically requires a scissor cut. The barber used a guard and made all my hair the same length on top and that was it. No shaping, thinning, scissors nothing. Just a quick buzz with a guard. Then we move onto the fade. The fade was nice but wasn't what I was looking for either. The major problem I had was when I left the shop I looked like I was beat up. My neck was red and cut, my face was red and cut, and they left the marker they used to line my facial hair up on my face. Did not attempt to clean me up at all, and let me walk out of the shop covered in hair, with cut irritated skin, and with a maker on my face. This was one of the most expensive haircuts I have ever gotten (prices were listed lower online) and I left feeling disappointed and distraught because my hair was messed up and my skin was abused. I thought about going back to get it fixed, but I did not wanna risk getting cut again and walking out looking unkempt again. For a 50$ + service I expect so much more but I got a bad haircut, cuts and razor burn, and a bad memory.
Great overall experience. Diverse atmosphere which they can serve any type of customer. Energy was uplifting and the barbers are welcoming and very professional. One of the best shops around in Cobb County for sure. Also cleanliness was great as well inside the shop front to back. Been a consistent customer for a long time here and don’t plan on changing that anytime.
Man what can I say about this shop! Some of the best barbers in Cobb County. Tab my barber have been cutting me for almost 10 years and the fades are fresh every-time. Eric is great to! Knowing these barbers almost half my life . So go get faded at The Shape Up Barber Shop in Kennesaw.
