Quick Facts About The Shop In Quartz Hill

The Shop in Quartz Hill appears to have several strengths based on the comments provided. Firstly, they are praised for their attentive and quick service. One customer mentioned that the staff at The Shop diagnosed and fixed their issue promptly, even fabricating parts when necessary. Another customer commented that they had a positive experience with the shop, with no issues a week after the repair. These positive experiences suggest that The Shop is efficient and effective in diagnosing and resolving automotive problems.
Additionally, The Shop seems to have a good reputation for handling difficult or urgent situations. One customer mentioned that they called over 50 shops after breaking down and The Shop was the only one willing to fit them in and help them get back on the road. This highlights their willingness to go above and beyond to assist stranded customers and their dedication to providing excellent customer service.
Another strength of The Shop is their involvement in the local community. One customer mentioned that the shop participates in a high school football booster car wash, indicating their support for local schools and community events. This involvement in the community can contribute to building a positive reputation and trust among customers.
Furthermore, The Shop is described as a busy automotive shop that can handle a wide range of repair jobs. One customer mentioned that they do "pretty much every job out there for trucks, cars, or whatever you need repairs on." They mentioned that after paying for services, they discovered that their AC was not working. When they brought the car back for repairs, they experienced a lack of communication and delays in getting their car fixed. This highlights a potential weakness in their communication and customer service practices, which can lead to customer dissatisfaction.
Another customer also had a negative experience with The Shop. They mentioned that after paying for a diagnosis, the repair was ineffective and they felt that they were overcharged for a quick and inexpensive fix. This suggests a potential weakness in the accuracy and effectiveness of their diagnoses, as well as potential issues with pricing transparency.
Additionally, the same customer commented on a negative interaction with an employee who became loud and confrontational. This highlights a potential weakness in customer service and professionalism within the shop.
In conclusion, The Shop in Quartz Hill has several strengths, including efficient and attentive service, willingness to help in urgent situations, involvement in the community, and the ability to handle various types of repairs. However, there are also potential weaknesses in their communication, customer service, accuracy of diagnoses, and professionalism. It is important for The Shop to address these weaknesses in order to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.

I had a busted heater hose and didn't know where to turn. Luckily, I found The Shop. Their staff was attentive and quick to diagnose the issue. The needed parts were unavailable but The Shop was able to fabricate them! I was back on the road the next day! A week later and no issues. 10/10 Would recommend! :)
My first impression of this place was not a good one with rally Kia slacking and poor customer service I thought of giving this guys a try since they are advertised on the radio as a great shop. I went in to get my vehicle diagnosed and being told nothing would cost to do it. A day after without giving me details they asked to secured 60 to diagnose the problem ? Which I agreed to since I was in need to find out what was going on with my vehicle. I went in got a diagnose for everything but what was actually wrong with the vehicle. The vehicle has a bent rim I was told I then drove the car getting the same issue I took it in for.I went straight to a rim shop where I was told the rim would not cause the issue I was having. I then took it home and put the donut on and drove it just to make sure and sure enough I still had the same problem and was out of $60 for an inaccurate diagnose on the issue. I then called to find out if I could bring it back so they can look at it once more but when I asked if it would be under the same $60 I had already paid the person on the other end sounded as he felt insulted by the question. I said I would take it back but already had a bad feeling in my stomach from the whole thing. so there you go and that was my experience going down to the shop in quarts hills.
Amazing! ... They took my truck with appoiment, got a diagnostic the same day and they fixed it within a day after my appointment. Every other shop was either too busy or they where going to keep my truck for weeks, they did an amazing job for a reasonable price on my diesel truck, I think I just found my To go to shop. Thanks guys for the good work!
WOW!
I thought I had an appointment with The Shop on 6-23-2021 at 8am. I told the kid behind the desk I will use my truck on vacation pulling my trailer in a few weeks and wanted to find out why it is missing. The kid behind the desk said bring it in on Wednesday 8am so I did when I got there he said they are to busy and not taking on new jobs I said I have a appointment he said they don't make appointments? Huh, the kid standing to my right said I could leave it but they won't look at it (WHAT?) this is a return they put the engine in a couple months ago I have a problem now they took my 2k now can't fix the problem they are busy.( OVER BOOKED) I am very busy also. When I made my (Appointment) I asked if he wants my phone number he said no just bring it in. A phone call would of been the right thing to do. Think about your policy (No
Appointments) Sounds like it helps you turn away return busness. Turn down new business take care of the return business just a thought. I gave them a 3 star because they did a great job the first time.....Now I have to pay someone else to fix it why?
I lived in QH for 26 years I came to know the Shop Automotive repair a few years ago. The Shop is always busy and occasionally you can visit a high school football booster car wash the shop helps with local schools. I have taken my family's car there for repairs and always been happy. Busy Automotive Shop that does pretty much every job out there for Trucks, Cars or what ever you need repairs on they do it..
I called over 50 shops after breaking down in El Mirage and these were the only guys that were willing to fit me in just to help get me back on the road. I could tell they were willing to do whatever it took to help someone that was stranded. They kept in communication with me the entire time and made me their priority. I can’t say enough good things about Dave and his crew. They’re life savers and genuinely good people.
Super disappointed with lack of communication and unprofessionalism.
I took my car in due to a check engine light and asked them to recharge the AC and do a tune up as well. We picked the car up later that evening, paid a around $630 and brought the car home, only to find out the AC was not working. (Probably didn't get checked after the recharge was done, but hey mistakes happen) We brought the car back on a Thursday. WE called later to check in and were told it was the "o" rings that had to be replaced on the compressor =$124. We felt that was an overcharge for such a quick inexpensive fix but decided to move forward with the work so it would be warranted, plus we're all about supporting the local family businesses. We didn't hear back from them on Thursday, finally on Friday I called them around 4pm to be told, its still not working, we cant figure it out, were working on it and I will call you before we close to give you an update. Never heard back. Now their closed Saturday and Sunday. On Monday at 3(ish)pm I CALLED THEM, only to be told their machine wasn't working, but they were getting it fixed and would have my car back to me ASAP. I asked if that meant they would be keeping my car another night, Dave told me, most likely, but I'll call you back when I know more. No Call. On Tuesday at 2:30pm I get a call to be told the whole AC system is corrupt and needs to be replaced for $2000. I told the employee, Dave, I would come get the car. I was unhappy with the lack of communication and really dont feel we can trust them. When I got to the shop to pick up my car I was charged the $124 for the "o" rings. I told Dave, how do I know that was done? I drove by multiple times Friday, Monday and today and my car wasn't being worked on till this morning? That seems very sketchy to me. At this point another woman in the office- I didn't get her name- got very loud and told me I was wrong! The car was worked on all day Friday and Monday. She got up out of her chair and stepped towards me raising her finger at me and getting loud. I asked her, This is how you treat your customers? I haven't raised my voice or done anything disrespectful to you, and she said "BECAUSE YOUR WRONG!!!!!"
Let me say, I paid my bill and left, I will never step foot in that shop again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone I know! I'm sure I got scammed and work wasn't actually done on my car, but I paid anyways and got out of that place!
I started using The Shop for our automobile repairs a few years ago. I really like this place. The guys working the office are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have always been happy with the estimates and the quality of their work. They are a busy place, like most auto repair places, it is better to get there early.
