Very gloomy dull place, food is as dull.
Chicken and meat is halal, mince meat is not halal.
Sat at the table with dusty cutlery, clearly in the pics. The staff said the cutlery came from the rack. He said he will be happy to get them washed and so he did!!
For starters we ordered the King Prawn Shaslik. By the look of the platter, the "King Prawn" was disected into many pieces. The prawns was all burries under huge chunks of onions, tomatoes, capcicum and cucumber. Could hardly see the prawn. Paid £15 for a plate of veggies.
Had the chilli garlic chicken for main. Very lamely prepared.
Chicken kadai was very poorly prepared as well.
The place needs a lot of makeover, the funny strange smell inside was not pleasant, the dark interior is sad. The food of all needs huge improvement.
Great little spot. We weren't expecting a lot in a rainy night in Weymouth but we found this gem by accident and it was exactly what we needed. Curries were all good, decent portion size and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend.
Although we enjoyed our evening out, service was on the slow side and the table really not big enough for 4. Although no one's fault in particular, there was a very noisy family on the next table who allowed their small kids to use the place as a playground. This somewhat spoiled our 'quiet night out'. We had booked way in advance, it being NYE so the was no opportunity to be moved on the night.
Meal was the worst meal I’ve ever had - I couldn’t eat all of the mixed Balti - meat wasn’t fresh it was processed, Balti was full of peppers and uncooked onions - I’ve never had a bright red Balti before!! Service was good though , food appalling ???????? has put me off curry’s! We do consume a lot of curry’s so have plenty to compare to.
Terrible experience. Ordered at 5pm, was told after paying that food would not arrive until 6:20pm. At 6:30 I made the 1st of many calls requesting an update, each time I was told it was 5 mins away. Food eventually arrived at 7:45pm. No apology or explanation given. By this point we had already cooked and eaten something else as we assumed it wouldn’t arrive.
Visited last night (Saturday) was very busy but they managed to squeeze us in, very clean and staff seemed friendly enough, we had a mixed kebab starter and butterfly king prawns, both very tasty, then for mains I had a chicken tikka madras and my wife had a lamb rogan josh, my madras was a little hotter than usual and also my wife’s rogan seemed a little hot (my reason for only 4*) chips, rice and garlic naan were all very nice, food was brought at hot and with a great amount of time between courses, prices are average as well
Lots of choice of dishes and well presented and amazing tasting food. I would highly recommend!
Ordered a meal at 6pm for delivery at 8pm. After numerous phone calls to the restaurant nothing arrived.
Requested a full refund and still waiting for the money to be refunded.
Very poor service and an experience I would not recommend to anyone.
Avoid this so called Indian dining experience.
