Best TL Reviews
I went there around 10am February 22, 2021. Around 12pm, this lady had me on her chair. This lady being so rough comb my hair, hurt my scalp. She keeps pulling, yanking my hair every time she braided my hair. She kept scratched my neck, face and ears. I wanted a small box braid for $180, turned out she ripped me off. The back is a large box braid. Front is a medium box braid. I couldn’t say anything because #1 I’m deaf and #2 I don’t want to be late for work. This lady braided my hair so hard. Around 3:35pm she done braiding my hair, she rushed to microwave her food and doesn’t even bother to give me a mirror. The other lady keep braiding my hair while she pulling it. She also put too much hair spray and olive oil spray in my hair. Definitely not professional. I love my natural hair, she has a hateful in her soul. I’ll not going back there. Too much discrimination and unprofessional. No stars.
Make sure you clarify what you want and how much you are willing to pay. Please save yourself the headache and call in advance and schedule your appt. UPDATE: 8 months later, DON'T COME HERE THEY DO WHAT THEY WANT AND RUSH THROUGH YOUR HAIR AND TAKE MONEY. You have a better chance of going somewhere else, this place has really gone downhill through the years. NEVER AGAIN.
They do what they are supposed to do! Great braids! Community staple and dependable for YEARS
Horrible customer service. Extremely rude, definitely will not be using this salon again. Took my kids there to get their hair braided. My youngest is tender headed. You would think these women would know how to deal with a child like that but instead they just kept telling her to stop moving and be good. Definitely not a good I would recommend..
Every time I go here I feel like they do a worse and worse job on my hair. This is the last time I will ever come here. I wanted fulani braids and I ended up with an incredibly full front style— instead of my cornrows looking like neat rows my hair is looking like a LAWN. It’s incredibly full and just not what I wanted/showed her in the picture. On top of that everyone is sort of rude and inconsiderate of your time and nobody picks up the phone. Please try and find somewhere else: I only went here because I was desperate and I was still disappointed
this was my first time ever going to a braiding shop and they did not disappoint. Ms.Katie did my hair and she was immensely nice and accommodating. I got knotless braids and she accomplished the style and length exactly how I wanted it. She parted and braided my entire head (I have very long and thick hair so another woman finished braiding just the ends) all my braids were clean and uniform. I brought my own hair cause I wanted a specific color but if you want black or brown hair they can supply it for you. Also their prices are very reasonable for the quality you get and they braid fast (my braids were past my behind and it was done in 5 hrs). Overall I highly recommend and will be going back to get my hair done again!!!
Very very unprofessional I called and told the owner my braids was coming out the second day after getting them done. I called and she stated that she was going to have me come in but I hat didn't happen.im never going back here again.
Please don’t go waste your money at Tima’s. I called the shop first to see what time I should come. The lady on the phone told me at five, I got there at five but was told to wait. So I waited in my car until almost 6 o’clock. When I finally got inside, I showed the girl the hairstyle I wanted. She said “OK.” She did not do the hairstyle I wanted. She gave me big, ugly, chunky dinosaur braids. I am very disappointed. When I got home, I realized that she didn’t even part the sections straight. I would not recommend.
