Quick Facts About Tip Top Nails
Tip Top Nails place has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, we will analyze the comments provided.
Starting with the negative comments, one customer expressed dissatisfaction with the service they received for a french tip full set. The technician did not use transparent nails and paint them as french, but instead used white fake nails. This resulted in the customer feeling like they were overcharged, as they were charged for french tips and gel polish that they did not receive. Additionally, the customer mentioned that their nails looked bad. This highlights a weakness in the salon's ability to provide the desired service accurately and efficiently.
Another negative comment criticized the salon's full set acrylic service. The customer felt that the technician rushed through the process, resulting in a mediocre French tip that looked like it was done by a child. They also mentioned that the technician cut their cuticles too low, causing pain. Furthermore, the customer noticed a cockroach during their visit, raising concerns about the salon's cleanliness.
One customer pointed out that the salon does not get close to the cuticle, making it look like their nails have grown out after just a few days. Additionally, they mentioned that the salon does not respect appointment times, causing customers to wait despite making prior arrangements. However, the customer did acknowledge that the salon's prices are reasonable on certain days.
Moving on to the positive comments, one customer praised the salon for their excellent care of ingrown toenails. They mentioned that this service is not easy to find elsewhere and commended the salon for providing it at a reasonable price. This comment highlights a strength of the salon's ability to handle specific nail care needs effectively.
Another positive comment mentioned that the salon was able to help a customer overcome their lifelong nail-biting habit. The customer was impressed with the set of acrylic nails with matte polish that the technician applied, which prevented them from biting their nails for months. This positive feedback showcases the salon's ability to provide effective and transformative services.
Taking all the comments into consideration, we can identify several strengths and weaknesses of Tip Top Nails place. Some potential strengths include their ability to address specific nail care needs, reasonable pricing, and providing services that help customers overcome bad habits. On the other hand, weaknesses may include inconsistency in service quality, difficulties in accurately fulfilling customer requests, issues with appointment management, cleanliness concerns, and potential instances of overcharging.
In order to improve, Tip Top Nails place should focus on training their technicians to consistently deliver high-quality services that meet customer expectations. They should also work on effectively managing appointments and ensuring a clean and sanitary environment for customers. Additionally, addressing issues related to overcharging and providing accurate service descriptions can help build trust and improve customer satisfaction.

So bad!
I went there and asked for french tips full set. the guy did not do french tips. he just placed white fake nails (instead of placing transparent nails and paint them as french) I got a regular polish (which what I asked for) They overcharged me. They charged me 49 dollars which is at least 12 to 14 dollars extra ( they charged me for french tips which is not what I got and for gel polish which is also not what I got) i should have been charged only 35 to 37 dollars so obviously the guy was stealing my money ( the owner if you really see this I would like to get my 12 dollars back and I do not appreciate the fact that i was overcharged) also, may nails look very bad as it wasnt the real french tips. again just white fake nails. I consider this is a theft. I would like the owner to solve my problem
Once again I regret going here. Their pedicure service is better but their full set acrylics is the WORST! I came in at 5pm. Once I came, the lady did my pedicure for an hour. Then Tom did my full set. He rushed through it because they were closing at 7pm and he ended up cutting my cuticles too low so it’s painful now. For a French tip it looks very mediocre and like a child did it. To make matters worst I saw a COCKROACH. Never going back for sure.
They do not get close to the cuticle so it looks like it’s been a few days. Otherwise he did a good job. They also don’t respect appointment times, and it makes no difference whether you call or not, you will always wait. But it’s cheap Mon-Wed if you pay cash so, you get what you pay for.
So far this is the BEST professional to take real care of my ingrown toenails. Not an easy and not for everyone here is done perfectly and reasonable price
10 out of 10
I'm a man who bit his nails all 34 years of my life, until I went to Tip Top nails. The lady put a set of manly-looking acrylic nails with matte polish on my hands, and I haven't bitten my nails in months!
I've grown out my natural nail, and the acrylic is getting smaller and smaller. Each few weeks I go back, she buffs my nails and adds a coat of matte polish to make them look like clean, natural and masculine nails. One day, I will finally cut off the acrylic completely and go back to my natural nail.
After 34 years, I no longer bite my nails!
Worst nail salon I have ever been to anywhere. Service is horrendous and they don’t know how to do nails.
I had booked 10 days in advance for 2 because I was in town. They forgot the booking “too far in advance”
There’s three people sitting around doing nothing and no one is willing to get up to serve us.
Then they finally get off their chairs to help us and put us in two chairs away from each other although we booked together and there were two seats right next to each other.
It’s not clean.
They don’t know how to file nails and treat cuticles. Mine were bleeding.
Would definitely not recommend.
I repeatedly pulled away from them because I was being nicked during my pedicure and refill from the drill. My original set was straight, smooth and not bulky, now they’re bumpy and one of them is noticeably crooked. I was told they could do a design that I wanted and it looks so bad. My toes are supposed to be squared and they face out now. They overcharged me. They also tried to charge me for length again which makes no sense because I was charged for it already at my other nail place
