Quick Facts About True Touch Nails and Spa
True Touch Nails and Spa has received a mix of positive and negative reviews from customers. In order to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, we will analyze the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, multiple customers have mentioned the exceptional job done by the staff at True Touch Nails and Spa. One customer specifically mentions Ali as their go-to nail technician, highlighting the skill and talent of the employees. This consistent praise for the quality of service suggests that the staff members are highly trained and experienced in their craft.
Another strength of the salon is the attention to detail and the willingness to adjust to customer preferences. The same customer who appreciates Ali also notes that the salon does not rush pedicures and ensures that the experience is tailored to individual preferences. This level of personalized care and customer satisfaction is an indicator of the salon's commitment to providing a high-quality experience.
The reasonable pricing of True Touch Nails and Spa is also mentioned in the comments. One customer states that every dime paid is worth it, suggesting that the salon offers competitive prices for their services. This is a significant strength as it attracts customers and ensures that they feel they are receiving value for their money.
The salon also seems to be popular among regular customers. A customer mentions their faithful visits every two weeks and the trust they have in Alley, one of the nail technicians. This loyalty indicates that the salon has built a strong customer base and maintains good relationships with its clients.
Moving on to the weaknesses, there are a few areas that True Touch Nails and Spa could improve upon. One customer expresses disappointment in the lack of understanding when it came to their request for a child's manicure. The customer wanted only one service but ended up with manicures for two people. This miscommunication suggests that the staff may need to improve their listening skills and attention to detail in order to avoid misunderstandings.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of kid-friendly chairs. Given that the customer brought their child to the salon, it would be beneficial for True Touch Nails and Spa to invest in chairs that are comfortable and suitable for children. This would enhance the overall experience for families visiting the salon.
One customer also criticized the pricing structure of the salon. They expressed frustration with additional charges for shaping nails, stating that it was unfair to charge extra for a basic service. This criticism suggests that the salon may need to revisit its pricing strategy and ensure that customers are aware of any additional charges before receiving a service.
A couple of negative reviews mention poor professionalism and customer service. One customer was disappointed with the lack of assistance in choosing a nail color and the technician's rude behavior. Another customer complained about a poor manicure and the presence of nail fungus. These instances of unprofessionalism and poor hygiene management are significant weaknesses and should be addressed promptly by the salon management.
In conclusion, True Touch Nails and Spa has several strengths, including skilled technicians, attention to customer preferences, reasonable pricing, and a loyal customer base. However, there are also weaknesses, such as miscommunication, lack of kid-friendly chairs, issues with pricing transparency, and instances of poor professionalism. It is important for the salon to address these weaknesses in order to maintain a positive reputation and provide a consistently excellent experience for customers.

I’ve come to this salon around 5 times now and every time I come they do an amazing and exceptional job. For my nails I go to Ali but all of the ladies do an amazing job. They don’t rush your pedicures and they make sure to adjust to your preferences. They are not overly priced either. Every dime you pay is worth it. I’ve attached photos of my most recent acrylics done by Ali. I highly recommend Alea Nails and Spa. :)
Brought my kid here for her to get her nails done. They didnt seem to understand me when I said it was just for one or just a pedicure so ended up with mani pedis for two. Kind of wished they had more kid friendly chairs. They did do a great job.
I love this place!! I come here every two
Weeks faithfully and Alley NEVER disappoints! I recommend this place for everything nails, toes, and eyebrows!
Called in the morning to make an appointment, went in and was greeted right away! They were kind to my daughter and did her nails too. I had forgotten that I mentioned how o have a picture of how I would like my nails, the lady did it perfectly! Moved recently to this area and am very happy to have found my nail place already! Definitely will recommend nail avenue and will continue to go back ????
Absolutely love this place! Finally found a nail salon on the west side that is amazing. The work is superb!
People were okay. Nothing great about this place. Lee does know how to do powder dip. But BEWARE! They charge for everything! $5 extra to shape your nails????? I mean what is the alternative...crazy crooked nails. Their prices are ridiculous. They charge for extras and don't tell you it's extra! Well not be going here again. Feel ripped off. $70 for short pink and white powder dipped nails. No...I don't think so. Lee was good, but not that good.
I recently came here for the first time and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. I came in with a picture of an idea of what I wanted for a dip manicure. And I chose the main color and there was another color for another nail and I had politely asked the technician what was a similar color from the picture I showed him while I looked through the nail colors and he just stood over me and said “I don’t know, just pick a color, it doesn’t have to be that color.”Usually when I show technicians a picture they will help me pick a similar color since they know which colors they have. This time, he did not help me at all and was rude and rushing me so I had to pick something quick. I also told him I wanted my nail shape to be shorter and rounded edges and told him multiple times and regardless, they still turned out longer and square. I even told him a few more times I had wanted them more short and he told me I should’ve told him before he applied the dip powder even though I had already made him aware multiple times by that point. This was one of the most unprofessional places I’ve been treated at a nail place.
Today I left with a $70 bill 2 nail fungi and a very poor manicure I've been using this nail salon for over 5 months. I know where the nail fungi came from. When my nails were removed at session Lily today I saw the 2 nail fungi. She told me I had bumped my finger and it was not a fungi!!!! I asked the nails not be replaced, allow my nails time to heal. She, charged me for the cost for the removing the nails, did this very poor manicure. I left with a $70 bill and a very disappointed customer.
