Quick Facts About Lucky Nail & Spa
Lucky Nail & Spa place has received a variety of comments, both positive and negative, that shed light on the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment.
Starting with the strengths, many customers have praised the nail technicians at Lucky Nail & Spa for their skills and attention to detail. One reviewer mentioned that their nail technician "meticulously placed each piece of foil perfectly" and another reviewer stated that their technician was "very good" and did "focused work." These positive comments highlight the technical expertise and precision of the nail technicians at Lucky Nail & Spa.
Cleanliness and a nice decor have also been mentioned as strengths of the establishment. One customer specifically mentioned that the salon is "super clean" and has "really nice decor and lighting." These factors contribute to creating a pleasant and comfortable environment for customers.
The range of services offered at Lucky Nail & Spa has also been praised. Customers commented on the ability of the salon to do various types of nail art and designs. One reviewer mentioned that they are able to do "all sorts of different nail art/designs." This versatility in services allows customers to express their personal style and preferences.
Additionally, some customers have mentioned specific nail technicians by name and praised their work. For example, one customer mentioned that they highly recommend Yen or Vi and another customer stated that Hana did an amazing job with their nails. These individual recommendations indicate that certain technicians at Lucky Nail & Spa have built a positive reputation among customers.
However, the comments also highlight several weaknesses of the establishment. One recurring issue is the poor customer service experienced by some customers. One customer mentioned feeling rushed by their "nail technician" who was "trying to take as many clients as possible." Other customers mentioned incidents where the technicians became irritated or snapped at them. Additionally, some customers felt uncomfortable with the constant conversation in Chinese in front of the client, finding it disrespectful. These instances of poor customer service indicate a need for improvement in the communication and professionalism of the staff at Lucky Nail & Spa.
Another weakness that has been mentioned is the pricing of services. One customer felt that they were charged an inflated price and mentioned that they would recommend looking elsewhere due to the high price. This suggests that Lucky Nail & Spa may need to review and adjust their pricing to align with customer expectations.
Inconsistencies in service quality have also been mentioned. While some customers expressed satisfaction with their experience, others mentioned issues such as chipped nails after a gel manicure and a subpar "spa" pedicure. These inconsistencies indicate a need for greater consistency in service quality and attention to detail.
Overall, Lucky Nail & Spa has strengths in terms of the technical skills of their nail technicians, cleanliness, decor, and a range of services. However, improvements are needed in customer service, pricing, and consistency to provide a consistently positive experience for all customers.

A mutual friend of a friend recommended that I go see Hana since i have been going back to NY every 3 weeks because in the past year I haven’t found a decent nail tech in this area. When I made my appointment I was told I would need to come early for my dip to be soaked off before my acrylic set could be applied. I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment and waited almost 30 minutes before a women came over with a drill. Whatever she did was not successfully because then Hana finally came over and it still took her almost 35 minutes to remove the dip. All she and the other staff could say was that it was “too thick” mind you my tech who does my dip in NY can have it soaked off in max 10 minutes. I told and showed Hana pictures of what I would like on my nails. She agreed and said I would need to pay $55 for the dip soak off, acrylic set, coffin shape, and design. I hesitantly agreed since my nails were already shipped the way I liked them and the soak off should be included since I was paying them for a new set. Then before polishing she tried to change what I wanted done and when I became confused with how she was explaining it she became irritated. There was then an issue with the gel yellow being too see through and instead of finding a different yellow within all their polished she complained about it being difficult. I then told her that she could do whatever was easiest to get my desired result and she snapped at me and said that the easiest way wasn’t what I wanted so she was going to do it the hard way. So obviously their customer service needs a lot of work. Visit at your own risk, but from the thickness of the acrylic, inflated price, and poor customer service I would recommend looking elsewhere.
I don’t know why I haven’t left a review for my favorite place where I come and relax, chit chat about crazy things! I’ve been coming here for I don’t know how long but looooooveee them! Nails eyebrows, it’s definitely my place. Mike is awesome! And recently been going to Yin for my eyebrows looove them never disappoint, Emily is great too! Can’t forget you girl!!!
I absolutely love going here! Never had a bad experience and they're able to do all sorts of different nail art/designs. Super clean, really nice decor and lighting as well. Definitely a stop worth making.
I was there Sunday for a gel manicure and "spa" pedicure. Overall service was not pleasant at all. I felt like my "nail technician " was constantly in a rush, trying to take as many clients as possible. My nails are already chipped which is ridiculous. The pedicure wasn't a spa pedicure by any means. I never had such dry feet. In the end, he was standing above me while I was drying my nails, waiting for a tip, it was very uncomfortable. And speaking of uncomfortable ... talking Chinese in front of the client ALL THE TIME is very disrespectful. Not going back for sure... so disappointed.
My nail tech was Thai. Got an acrylic set and pedicure for a wedding. He was very good! Very kind and he did much more focused work than at other places. (See reviews for my fill @ Super Nails- Findlay ????) will definitely be back to have that work fixed!
Wish I had taken photos of his work!
I switched to here almost a year ago, Yen never fails to make sure my nails are perfect. She listens to what I want and doesn't fail to deliver.
Hana did an amazing job.. she Took her time and meticulously placed each piece of foil perfectly. Will definitely return to see Hana!
I've been going here for years and I've never been disappointed in their quality and friendliness. I highly recommend Yen or Vi
