I really wanted to give them a five star review because Tam did an absolutely amazing job on my nails and I love them.
BUT... $86 (without tip) for a full set of ombre powder nails is very very pricey and my wallet is afraid to come back again ????????
The employees all seemed very nice and happy. The spa is clean and the equipment is in good repair.
I despise small talk so it was nice that they don’t engage you in too much conversation.
I'll probably come back but I'll make sure to ask for prices beforehand.
Loved Utopia Nails & Spa
Went there to get a pedicure and a manicure Loved their service. They went far and beyond my expectations I have jacked up toe nails and they made them look better than ever before. This is my new Nail spot.????????????
Jon did an amazing job on my nails and 2 big toes.. and I don't know the name of the lady who did my pedicure but she was the bomb as well my feet are very soft and beautiful and they were a hot mess before.. Thanks y'all I will be back soon!!!
September 2022: I just moved to Torrance and I cracked a nail right in the nail bed. Ouch!! So painful. So I asked Google for a "nail salon near me." Utopia was the first one to pop up. I called to see if they would have an opening for a full set of Dip or if not could someone fix the broken nail just to get me out of pain. The girl that answered the phone was very short with me and hung up. I called again, and said, "I think you hung up on me." She said, "Yes, I could not hear you! When do you want to come?" I said "Anytime, whatever you have open." She said "come in half an hour or an hour!" And hung up again. How rude! I was NOT impressed. If I had not been in so much pain, I would have shopped around for a much more polite and friendly buisness.
When I got to the salon I was hooked up with Tee! OMGOSH, she is the sweetest girl!! She made my day!! Because, of Tee, I will be doing all of my buisness with Tee at Utopia. I would give 5 stars, but, I am only giving 4 because of the rude girl who hung up on me twice. Seriously Utopia, she is the face of your buisness by having her answer your phones. I have no doubt you are losing customers because of that rudeness. I am thankful I was set up with Tee. It was her that won me over.
December 2022: Update: Come on Utopia, you are about to lose my buisness and I want to take a star or two away on my review. The girl that answers the phone is rude, short with people, and she still hangs up on people. She needs some training in good manners and proper etiquette. She is the first encounter with your buisness everytime someone makes an appointment. She sets the tone. She needs to be happy and show some grace. Stop being rude. Listen to the customer and quit hanging up on people.
That being said Tee, Tina and Lynn are lovely nail techs. Very very personable and kind.
Don't let the front person ruin your business. Train her. Please.

Wow. I haven't been here since the pandemic. They moved next door to a larger space. First they remembered me and greeted me so warmly. And the place looks amazing. Everything thing is new. Great customer service. Tam upsold me on the Deluxe Pedicure and it was great. I love this place. Customer for life.

Very clean and friendly this is my first time coming I would really recommend you coming here and the staff are very friendly and professional I would definitely come back here
