Quick Facts About VENEZIA NAIL SPA PARK RIDGE
Venezia Nail Spa in Park Ridge has received mixed reviews from customers, highlighting both its strengths and weaknesses. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, we will examine the common themes and issues raised by customers in the comments provided.
One of the main strengths of the salon is the skill and professionalism of specific nail technicians, such as Emily, who is praised for her experience and expertise. Customers express satisfaction with the quality of their manicures, particularly when it comes to dip manicures, which are said to last a month in perfect condition. This indicates that the salon has technicians who are skilled in specific nail techniques and can provide long-lasting and high-quality manicures.
The salon is also praised for its appearance and cleanliness. Customers note that the salon is beautiful, clean, and spacious, with a pleasant atmosphere. This is important for creating a positive and comfortable environment for customers to relax and enjoy their services.
Additionally, the availability of complimentary drinks, such as bubbly, is seen as a nice touch that enhances the overall experience. Customers appreciate the attention to detail and the effort to create a luxurious and pampering ambiance.
Despite these strengths, there are several weaknesses that are commonly raised by customers. One recurring issue is the poor customer service provided by the front desk staff. Customers describe encounters with rude front desk personnel, which creates a negative impression of the salon from the moment they enter. This is a significant weakness as good customer service is crucial for creating a positive experience and encouraging repeat business.
Another weakness is inconsistency in the quality of service provided by the nail technicians. Multiple customers report receiving subpar manicures, with issues such as uneven filing, chipped nails, and poorly done acrylics. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and a failure to meet customer expectations. Furthermore, the lack of proper pre-treatment, such as cuticle trimming, soaking, and nail shaping, raises concerns about the overall professionalism and expertise of some technicians.
The lack of responsiveness from the management team is another weakness highlighted in the comments. Several customers mention their attempts to contact the manager to address their concerns but received no response or delayed responses. This lack of communication indicates a disregard for customer feedback and a failure to address and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Lastly, some customers report experiences of being rushed through their services, particularly during the pedicure appointment. This rushed service is inconsistent with the relaxing and pampering experience that customers expect from a salon visit. It reflects a lack of attention to individual customers' needs and a failure to provide a thorough and enjoyable experience.
In conclusion, Venezia Nail Spa in Park Ridge has both strengths and weaknesses based on customer reviews. While the salon is praised for the skills of specific technicians and its overall appearance, it falls short in terms of customer service, consistency in the quality of service provided, responsiveness from management, and the thoroughness of the services. These weaknesses highlight areas for improvement and indicate that the salon may benefit from addressing issues related to customer service, consistency, communication, and attention to detail.

Front desk girl was very rude. I did a dip manicure. The dip was filed down very thin. Not even a week later my one mail is starting to chip. Usually dip can last me a month. My manicure did not include any cuticle clean up nor soaking my fingers in water. Very disappointed with the quality.
One of the worst manicures I’ve gotten. I usually have a good experience here but this time I had a full set of acrylics done by a guy who did not seem to know what he was doing. He gave me no treatment before doing the actual acrylics--no cuticle trimming or treatment--and when I asked him to trim my nails down a bit he chopped the entire tips off and didn’t even file them afterwards. The acrylics are done poorly with the tips sticking upwards at a weird angle they shouldn’t, so they don't look as natural. He originally filed them unevenly until I requested he fix them, but he then started to file the wrong side as if he didn’t see the way they were misshapen. While he also fixed a nail I pointed out was shorter than the other nails, he made it too long the second time (I went home and filed it myself because I wanted to leave and didn’t trust him anymore). Overall, I left feeling dissatisfied: with how much I paid for the job done, the way he rushed through it, and despite my requests for some changes. The next day I requested to speak to the manager but she wasn't in so I was told she would call me back soon. It's been 4 days with no call so I reached out again and was told she still wasn't in. Now, I'm not only unhappy with the service but also with the lack of communication.
**update: it’s been two weeks now with no call and one of my no chip nails has chipped…**
I have been going to this nail salon for a very long time ago and go almost every two weeks for a no chip manicure! I’ve never had a bad experience here until recently. I went in as soon as the Saladin opened on Saturday to get my nail fixed. My nail was breaking and all I wanted was for someone to glue it back for me really quickly until my next appointment. Everyone in the salon just stared at me for a couple of minutes and I asked again if someone could just really quickly glue it for me. They then said no they wouldn’t do it and said they had fully booked appointments. I understand being fully booked but the woman told me the first appointment wasn’t for another 25 minutes. No one was even in the salon yet and it would have taken not even 2 minutes for them to help me. I really like this place but I won’t be returning because of how this situation was handled, just very rude about the whole thing.
I have tried many places and never have I gotten the fantastic service start to finish like I do at this location.
EMILY IS FABULOUS! She has been my go to girl since day 1. She is the most accommodating and experienced nail tech I have ever worked with. She is patient, kind and knows what she is doing. I usually get dip manicures and they last a month in perfect condition.
Five plus stars for this location and EMILY!!
I have tried to give this business multiple opportunities, but unfortunately I am not going back. In addition to regularly taking people late they don’t honor their services. I don’t like turning away from small businesses, or giving poor ratings. However, I value transparency and although they seem like very kind people, their business is not worth the steep pricing. I’ll be going elsewhere after using them exclusively for years. I hope they are able to work on any areas of growth and hopefully can fix these small problems so they thrive as a business in the future.
This is a very beautiful nail salon, very clean. I was their first appointment for a pedicure and full set.. during their pedicure it was extremely rushed. For what reason I have no idea considering I was the first appointment. Hopefully they will take their time with each guest.
The salon is very pretty, clean, and spacious with lots of mani and pedi stations to pamper you. There’s also some delicious bubbly available if the moment calls for it or just because. ☺️ And yes, of course, all safety measures are taken and applied by the entire staff. The overall experience was great! If you live in the area or nearby, and wanting to get pampered, stop by! This month is a good time to check them out with their grand opening special which expires the end of this month!! ????????????????????
My nail tech Julie was rude to me. I accidentally marked up one of my nails when it was drying and she said "why??" In a rude way like she was blaming me. And then again I asked her afterwards if she could put another coat of polish on one nail and she came over and said, "what's wrong with you?". Not happy with it. Not coming back.
