Quick Facts About VIP Nails
VIP Nails place has a mix of both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. In order to provide a comprehensive analysis, I will discuss each aspect separately.
Strengths:
1. Skillful Nail Technicians: One comment mentions that the acrylic nails at VIP Nails were the best the customer had in years. The nail technician named Nina was praised for her expertise, speed, and efficiency. This indicates that there are skilled professionals at VIP Nails who can provide high-quality services.
2. Wide Range of Colors and Styles: Another positive comment highlights the variety of colors and styles available at VIP Nails. This suggests that customers have plenty of options to choose from, allowing them to personalize their manicure or pedicure experience.
3. Friendly and Organized Staff: The same comment also mentions that the staff at VIP Nails are always friendly. It is seen as a positive aspect of the salon, as having approachable staff can contribute to a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers. Additionally, the mention of the shop being clean and organized indicates that the staff maintains a tidy salon which can be appreciated by customers.
4. Suitable for Children: One comment mentions that VIP Nails is a good place for pedicures, even with a 5-year-old child. This suggests that the salon is accommodating to families and can provide services that cater to individuals of different ages.
Weaknesses:
1. Poor Service, Inadequate Results: Some comments express dissatisfaction with the service received at VIP Nails. One customer noted that despite the extended time taken for the manicure, the nails were unevenly shaped, not coated properly, and did not resemble the requested square shape. This indicates that the salon may have inconsistencies in the quality of their services.
2. Rude Staff: Another comment describes a rude encounter with the staff at VIP Nails. The customer felt that their concerns were not addressed and deemed the overall experience terrible. This suggests that the customer service provided by the staff may not always be satisfactory.
3. Pricing and Lack of Transparency: A few comments mention issues with pricing and a lack of transparency. One customer stated that the salon did not provide a price list and pressured them into a more expensive option. Another mentioned unexpected additional charges for services. These instances suggest a lack of clear communication about pricing and potential upselling tactics, which might lead to customer dissatisfaction.
4. Painful and Unsatisfactory Pedicure: One customer mentioned a painful experience during a gel pedicure at VIP Nails. They complained about nails being sanded excessively, resulting in pain and discomfort. Additionally, they highlighted issues with uneven trimming and a subpar polishing job. These negative experiences can harm the salon's reputation and deter customers from returning.
Overall, VIP Nails place has some strengths in terms of skilled technicians, a wide range of colors and styles, friendly staff, and being child-friendly. However, there are notable weaknesses related to inconsistent service quality, rude staff, pricing transparency, and painful pedicure experiences. Addressing these weaknesses could help improve the salon's reputation and customer satisfaction.
Best TL Reviews
I never do review’s unless I feel like it should be either really bad or good in this case I thought I’d give it another try I usually go to the one next to Costco for a dip powder they do fantastic and it’s does not take more then 1hr I came here she insisted for me to do gel I said no I want exactly what I have French tip she said no full color I agreed it took almost 2hrs they are uneven not shaped correctly and the color is not fully coated I told her I wanted square they do. Not look square at all more like oval and really uneven I am really disappointed
The best acrylic nails that I've had in years! I went to a girl named Nina and she was so excellent, fast and efficient. Very skilled as I requested an almond shape French manicure. Very elegant and thin. I live in Davis and it is worth the distance.
I love VIP! So many colors and styles to choose from and the staff are always friendly. The shop is clean and organized. My nails are always so cute! Nina is one if my favorite nail techs, but others there have also done a great job. Call to make an appointment, call if you are going to be late, and week days are better if you want to avoid crowds. Masks optional.
Found this popular nail salon in the area and decided to walk in. From the reviews it was everything I wanted to service my color change on my already manicured hands, and feet. I was greeted by a young lady that examined my nails and told me my gel set, was acrylic and that my nails that are colored, had powder underneath the color. I then asked what the problem was because she wanted to keep examining them. She said there was no problem. I then asked for the price of my intended service and I was told that a COLOR CHANGE was 25 for NAILS and the rate for my feet was what I expected $10-15. I NEVER DO REVIEWS BUT THIS WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND A RUDE ONE!!!
I went in a couple of weeks ago to get a gel pedicure done. First of all, they don't give you the price list. They hold it and constantly insist on you getting the $55 one. Second, I asked for her to cut my toenails short and she didn't. I can feel the long toenails when I wear tennis shoes. I'd cut them, but it's a French tip.Third, she grabbed my middle toe and did this weird turn and flick on it before walking away. I'm not sure what that was about but it hurt. Fourth, my big toe was swollen for days after from when she cleaned the cuticles. Then she said it would be $15 in addition to the 55 for a gel pedicure. I do not think this was worth $70. I had heard good things about this place, but my experience and result was not a good one. I'm never going back.
I love this place!! They are the best with my pedicures, even when I have my 5 year old son who loves to get them too. I highly recommend this place.
Had powder gel done 2weeks ago. They sanded my nail paper thin. I told guy too stop it was burning. My nails still are hurting. I will never go there again.
Garbage. She only trimmed one foot. Barely scrubbed. I had to re polish when I got home, not because I touched anything, but because she did a Ragedy job. Best part about it was the lavender aroma that I chose and the water was nice and hot. $60 wasted. MOST nail salons in Woodland would do better for $30. SMH
