Quick Facts About Wong's Restaurant
Wong's Restaurant, a once beloved establishment, is now facing various criticisms and negative feedback from customers. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of this restaurant, it is important to delve into the comments provided.
Starting with the weaknesses, the most prevalent issue seems to be the decline in food quality. One customer mentions finding a melted plastic lid in their leftovers, which not only raises concerns about hygiene and proper handling of food, but also indicates a lack of attention to detail in the kitchen. Another customer states that the flavor of their combination plate was disappointing and lacked the expected taste. These comments highlight inconsistency and a decrease in the overall quality of the dishes.
Secondly, the restaurant's customer service has received significant criticism. Multiple customers complain about the attitude and unfriendliness of the staff. One customer points out an incident where the restaurant hang up on them when they called to place an order, only to receive a straight attitude when they called back. Another customer mentions feeling hassled and unwelcome when requesting additional house mustards, despite spending over $100 on their meal. Rude behavior and poor customer service can greatly affect the overall dining experience and discourage customers from returning.
Furthermore, there is evidence of mismanagement and mistakes. One customer recounts a situation where the owners wrongly accused a customer of picking up a DoorDash order, leading to a heated argument. This lack of accountability and refusal to rectify the mistake displays unprofessionalism and a lack of customer care. Additionally, another customer shares an incident where the restaurant openly argued with them over their order and refused to acknowledge their mistake, even resorting to yelling. These instances not only demonstrate poor problem-solving skills and a lack of empathy but also reveal a disregard for customer satisfaction.
Lastly, the issue of pricing is raised by some customers. One customer mentions that the food is overpriced, diminishing the value for money proposition. Another customer expresses their disappointment at the restaurant charging a 15% fee for dining in. While this may be a standard practice for some establishments, it can be seen as an additional financial burden for customers who were already dissatisfied with the food and service.
Despite these weaknesses, there are still some strengths that can be attributed to Wong's Restaurant. Several customers mention that the food is good on certain occasions, highlighting the potential for enjoyable dining experiences. The chicken salad, pot stickers, and wonton soup are specifically mentioned as being delicious. These positive comments indicate that the kitchen is capable of delivering flavorful and satisfying dishes, even though consistency appears to be an issue.
In conclusion, Wong's Restaurant has numerous weaknesses that need to be addressed. The decline in food quality, poor customer service, mismanagement, and pricing concerns are major factors contributing to negative feedback from customers. However, it is important to consider the strengths as well, such as the potential for delicious dishes. By identifying and addressing these weaknesses, Wong's Restaurant can improve its overall dining experience and regain the loyalty of its customers.

We ordered two combination plates yesterday and after microwaving my left overs I saw this melted plastic lid. This place used to be delicious but now...lower than average. I wouldn't even care about the plastic if the food was good but it wasn't. Hunan chicken, chicken chow mein and pork fried rice combo plate was sad, good portions but flavor not there.
Called 3-15-23 to order immediately hangs up. call back to ensure correct number straight attitude.. sorry I can’t support and spend my money with someone who has a nasty attitude! Pretty sure my meal wouldn’t be cooked with love. Just lost a customer! I always spend $50 or more plus tip.
The food is good, but service sucks. I have never met so unfriendly people in my life, especially if you're paying the kind of prices you're paying. Pay over $100 on food and you get hassled over the number of house mustards you ask for, give me a break.
I ordered some Wonton soup to go, as I waited for my order, and woman, Veronica, came in to pick up her DoorDash order. The owners stated Veronica had already picked it up; she had not. The owners told her if she wanted her food, she would have to reorder and pay for it again. They chewed her out for ordering through DoorDash and told her she should have order directly through them. Then another woman, Vanessa, came in returning food; they had given her Veronica’s order. The owners then tried to give Veronica the returned food. I told them they had to make her fresh food, which they then agreed to do. They were extremely rude, and unapologetic when it was discovered they were the ones who screwed up. I will take my business to politer business owners.
This was my go to place for many years. Food and service are lacking. Overpriced and mediocre food. And they are charging 15% fee to dine in now. Not for me anymore
Absolute garbage! Will never eat there again! Plus a15% fee just to eat there!! NEVER AGAIN! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Quality over quantity!
I ordered my regular, glazed prawns, broccoli and jumbo shrimp fried rice. I got home and had shrimp with some nasty looking sauce on it. I asked if I could have my broccoli cooked well, not crunchy and it was crunchy!! Fried rice had about 6 shrimp. I called and told them and they argued with me and said that's the way the glazed shrimp is always done. I said no, I have ordered this many times. So the girl at the register said, no that's the way it has always been!! I said no it hasn't. She says do you want to talk to the cook? He got on the phone and said yes, that's the way it is and started screaming at me!! I said who are you screaming at?? And told him I won't be back ever again!! Very rude and disrespectful!! I spent $45 and should have had a decent conversation!! Watch were you spend your money!!????????????????
Its got its ups and downs ... the food is good sometimes and not good other times ... the chicken salad pot stickers and wonton soup are real good ...
