Quick Facts About A Head of the Times - Aveda Concept Salon
Strengths:
1. Excellent customer service: Multiple comments mention the friendliness and kindness of the staff at A Head of the Times - Aveda Concept Salon. This is crucial for creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
2. Skilled and talented stylists: The salon seems to have a team of experienced and talented hairstylists who consistently deliver great results. Angie, Natalie, and Sara received high praise for their skills and ability to understand and execute their clients' desired hairstyles.
3. Range of services: The salon offers a variety of services, including haircuts, color, manicures, pedicures, and massages. This allows customers to have multiple needs met in one place, making it convenient and time-saving.
4. Long-lasting and quality results: Many customers complimented the longevity of their hair color and nail treatments. This suggests that the salon uses high-quality products and pays attention to detail, ensuring that the results last for an extended period.
5. Availability and flexibility: Several comments mentioned that it was easy to get an appointment at the salon, highlighting the flexibility and availability of the staff. This is great for customers who may have busy schedules or last-minute beauty needs.
Weaknesses:
1. Internal conflicts or management issues: One comment mentioned that the owner, Angie, was disliked by someone due to her management style. This suggests that there may be some internal conflicts or issues within the salon that could affect the overall experience for both staff and customers.
2. Price: One customer noted that their visit was expensive, paying around $108 for a shellac manicure and pedicure. While quality service often comes at a higher price, it may deter potential customers who are sensitive to cost or have budget constraints.
3. Reliance on specific staff members: Multiple comments expressed concern that if a specific stylist or nail technician were to leave the salon, they would follow them elsewhere. This suggests a lack of loyalty to the salon brand itself and potentially puts the business at risk if key staff members were to leave.
4. Limited customer reviews: The provided comments and feedback are positive, but they come from only a handful of individuals. Without a larger pool of reviews, it is difficult to determine if these positive experiences are representative of the salon as a whole.
5. Lack of information on other salon features: While the comments mention excellent styling and nail services, there is limited information about additional amenities or features offered by the salon. Without this information, potential customers may be less inclined to choose this salon over others that provide a more holistic experience.
In conclusion, A Head of the Times - Aveda Concept Salon has several strengths, such as exceptional customer service, talented stylists, a range of services, long-lasting results, and availability. However, there are also weaknesses to consider, including potential internal conflicts, higher prices, reliance on specific staff members, limited customer reviews, and a lack of information on additional features.

I have gone to Angie for years. She is the kindest and the most perfect hairdresser I have experienced. I have short hair and even being older I like now styles. I never leave their disappointed. I can’t think of anyone I would rather have do my hair. The salon is also perfect and everyone is extremely nice.
I went to Sara for a haircut and she was great. I do know the owner so it’s disappointing to see such talent (like Sara) working at a place like this. I’d have my wife and kids go there but unfortunately she doesn’t care much for Angie and how she runs that salon. If Sara leaves, I’ll definitely be going with her.
This salon is the friendliest salon around. Always able to get me in. The services I have received are always perfect. The owner angi is always friendly. And she has the best staff. Definitely recommend Laine for nails!!
Amazing! Love my beautiful blonde hair! Thanks to Natalie! She is the absolute best! I drive an hour just to have her do my hair! I highly recommend Natalie for any hair color or cuts! She did my mom's hair also and covered all her grey with a beautiful brown all over color with little bit of blonde highlights! The front staff is very nice and accommodating! Definitely worth the drive and the money..I won't go anywhere else!
I go to Ahead of the Times for Sammy and my nails. She is great. My nails look adorable every single time, and the shellac she does on them lasts. I love that she also comes with a two-week guarantee just in case something were to happen to them. She comes up with clever designs and is always ready with a fun color suggestion if I don't have one.
They do wonderful work! I got a shellac manicure and pedicure. Emily was very thorough and friendly. It was very expensive paid $108 for everything. I would go back again because the shellac on my toes still looks amazing and its been on for 1 month!
I can’t say enough how much I love this studio. They are kind professional and excellent at what they do. I love the way Angie does my hair and Becca gives the best massage I have ever received. If looking for someone give them a try.
I go for Sammy and nails, and she is PHENOMENAL. She can do any trendy style and she makes it look amazing. She gets me in and out in the right time and my nails last for weeks. (Aside from regrowth the last time they looked perfect after 8 weeks.) She's affordable and even offers you a beverage. I could talk all day about how awesome Sammy is. If you're in need of a mani/pedi shellac, acrylics she is your girl!!
