This place is nasty and they people are disrespectful I’ve had a couple of encounters because I try to give ppl the chance they do poor work and shop is slack and junky sit under dryers look like they are molded because of spritz and this they spray and never clean I don’t know if I’m their culture they don’t clean but I won’t be back this is so not inviting they get zero stars for me but I couldn’t post without adding one and I’m tired of seeing that lady wet her self up with all that water whatever their ritchual is should not be done in front of people
This place is the WORST!!!!! From the dead bug on the floor and unprofessional and rude staff I’m just done! I showed her a picture and she did what she wanted to. I was there for close to 4 hours, it only took her about 30-45 minutes to braid my hair. I will definitely not be returning to patronize this business. I will drive 2 and a half hours to Charlotte to get quality service.
THE WORST!!!! literally the lady braided my hair how she wanted to the parts weren’t even straight and my hair literally started frizzing the next day made me blow dry and comb my own hair out very unprofessional!
Will never take my girls here again..didn't have any idea you have to blow dry your own hair to receive service and the way I was approached about not being able to blow dry my kids hair. She followed us outside to tell me about what her sister told her about me not blow drying their hair and I told her I wasn't able because of my arm but I did made an effort..I told her they will never come back again. I only took my kids here because the place I go to get my hair braided was booked and it was a last minute decision.
To those reading my review; etc. . I want to let the Business World of Hair know that you will not find a more kind hearted person than “Brenda “ the owner.
She runs a professional establishment! The ladies go beyond expectations! They stand all day to please the community! No pain -No gain ! Beauty takes time These ladies sacrifice their time to make every woman look beautiful. Everyday these ladies -aim to satisfy each customer! Brenda has been doing my hair for 15 years and each time she does my hair I give her a gold STAR. Let the record show ,my natural hair has grown past my bra strap .Furthermore; I receive compliments from all. People ask me who does my hair & I gladly recommend Brenda’s African Braids
I speak from my heart to say ,”
May Brenda’s African Braids continue to have another successful decade & I Will Pray for this establishment
Forevermore Amen
Great Services! I am satisfied everytime I get out the seat???? and so are my girls. I have been a regular customer for almost a year now. My girls & I have naturally thick & curly hair so it's a plus for being braided right & to where it can hold in place; Brenda does that!????????
Currently, visiting from Atlanta. In need of a simple braid down as foundation for a diy style. Called the number associated with the business. I asked if I can ask a few questions and her response is “About what?” Seriously? This is a business number I dialed to speak with you regarding this business... correct? That response triggered agitation on my behalf. I have zero patience for a lack of professionalism. After I expressed how I no longer am interested and disconnected. 2 additional calls were made to my phone. I have moved on. Thank you/No thank you. For future reference please do better.
I had a appointment at 9. I was the first person there. I was getting box braids and I had an undercut so I told them I understand not having my lower back braided. The lady that started on my hair handed me off to a much older woman who acted like she couldn't braid and she acted like she didnt want to do it. Next, they kept stopping for walk-ins who had simpler styles then mine. So in my eyes in this shop walk ins have a higher priority to them than their appointments smh... I went in at 9am and left at 845pm.... NEVER again. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. Do your homework and read the reviews first, I sure wish I would have. Lastly, I wanted my box braids between medium/big in size... they went at least 2 sizes smaller.
