I was told that they knew how to do curly hair over the phone but when I got there, she clearly had no idea what to do with my hair. She brushed it out dry and the cut my hair like a poodle. I’m never going back.

I've been going to Mei for 15 years now. She is very talented, professional and always does an amazing job with my hair. Cut, color and style. Highly recommend Mei! Love her and her staff.

I was new to the area and needed a hair dresser. I was starting a temp job on a Monday and they were able to get me in Saturday morning for a cut and color. The owners Mei and Kevin were so awesome! The salon is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. Mei and Mary Beth did a fantastic job on my color and Mei’s cut was perfect. I told her she was my new best friend ????. I highly recommend!

I feel fortunate to have found Azia Hair & Body, which is a full service beauty salon. The massages are the best I've ever had, and Mei, the owner, is not only a talented hair stylist, but also someone who is genuinely concerned about her customers' wants and needs. She listens to how I want my hair styled, advises on the best cut and color, and I am always pleased with the outcome. If you live in the Columbia area, I highly recommend this salon. You will not be disappointed!

Mei is wonderful! I moved to Columbia a few months ago and was nervous to try someone new but honestly my hair looks better than it ever has. She knows what she is doing and it is all aboit making sure you leave happy. The atmosphere of the salon is amazing as well. I highly recommend Mei and the salon in general!

I was told by Mai that I should go to a black hair salon because she doesn’t service “my kind of hair”. All I wanted were highlights, cut and blow dry. My hair is very fine and extremely easy to work with. I went to another salon ( Phoenix Salon ) which I highly recommend because they don’t discriminate. If you can’t service curly or wavy hair then you shouldn’t be able to do hair in a salon period. If you just don’t want to service biracial or black people then you don’t even deserve your license. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND

Mei is the best hair stylist ever. She listens and always makes me look so much better!!! Aiza is the most relaxing and beautiful place I've ever been to get my hair done. The whole experience is so relaxing that I don't want to leave. Prices are very comparable!!

This was my first visit to the salon, but definitely will not be my last. The atmosphere is so calming and peaceful. Mei explained exactly what I needed for my hairstyle with color and highlights. I am so thankful to have such a great salon in Irmo. My daughter also enjoyed getting a pedicure. Staff is courteous and very welcoming.
