Crescent Nails & Spa, based on the comments provided, has both strengths and weaknesses that can be analyzed. The strengths of the establishment include the quality of service, the inviting atmosphere, and the friendly staff. On the other hand, the weaknesses include occasional rushed service, inconsistency in results, and concerns about cleanliness and sanitation practices. By exploring these comments, we can gain a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of Crescent Nails & Spa.
Starting with the strengths, the majority of comments highlight the enjoyable experiences customers have had at Crescent Nails & Spa. The first comment expresses how the individual always enjoys their pedicures at the salon, praising the additional treatments such as paraffin and hot towels. This suggests that Crescent Nails & Spa goes above and beyond the average nail salon in terms of services provided. The use of massage chairs is also appreciated, indicating that the salon invests in providing comfort and relaxation to its customers.
Another comment expresses adoration for the nail salon, emphasizing the inviting and fresh atmosphere. The well-cared-for plants and the quality of service are also mentioned here. This suggests that Crescent Nails & Spa takes pride in creating an aesthetically pleasing environment and maintains a high standard of service. Additionally, the anticipation of a renovation at the end of the month indicates that the salon is committed to improving and enhancing the customer experience.
Moving on to the weaknesses, some comments point out issues related to rushed service and inconsistent results. One customer mentions that there have been occasions where their service was rushed and the results were not completely satisfactory. This suggests that the salon may struggle with managing its appointments and occasionally overbooks, leading to rushed treatments. However, the friendly staff and overall niceness of the salon are still acknowledged.
In contrast, another comment highlights a negative experience, indicating that the salon failed to comply with a request for a redo after two acrylic nails fell off a few days after treatment. While the customer states that they will give the salon another chance, it raises concerns about the salon's ability to address and rectify customer complaints and issues.
Cleanliness and sanitation practices also come into question in some comments. One customer expresses concerns regarding the reuse of tools without washing and the dirty brushes, which may compromise the sanitary conditions of the salon. This raises doubts about the adherence to best practices in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
Furthermore, one comment highlights the issue of punctuality and professionalism. The customer recounts multiple instances of waiting past their appointment time and experiencing unprofessional behavior from the salon's staff. The scolding voicemail left by Dennis, who manages scheduling and the front desk, is specifically mentioned as an unacceptable display of customer service.
Lastly, there are a couple of comments that mention issues with payment methods accepted by the salon. One customer complains about being asked to pay in cash, which is inconvenient for them, especially since debit cards are not accepted on weekends. This indicates a lack of flexibility in payment options, which can be perceived as an inconvenience for customers.
In conclusion, the strengths of Crescent Nails & Spa lie in the quality of service, inviting atmosphere, and friendly staff. On the other hand, the weaknesses include occasional rushed service, inconsistency in results, concerns about cleanliness and sanitation practices, punctuality issues, and limitations in payment options. These comments provide valuable insights for potential customers, helping them make informed decisions about visiting Crescent Nails & Spa. The salon should address the areas of weakness highlighted in the comments in order to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

I always enjoy my pedicures here, they do more than your average spot with paraffin and hot towels. Sometimes a little slow because they are always busy so don’t go if you’re in a rush! Sit back and enjoy the massage chairs :)
I have been here many times for both pedicures snd manicures and most of the time have had good experiences. There have been a handful of times where my service has been rushed snd the results have not been completely satisfactory. I think they overbook themselves sometimes and it causes the technicians to rush. However the owner and nail techs are always very friendly and the salon is very nice.
I ADORE this Nail Salon!
Everything about it is inviting and fresh, the plants are are very well cared for, the employees are cared for and the quality of service is incredible! I am so excited to see how thing’s sparkle after the renovation at the end of the month.
i’m very happy with my visit today. i used to feel rushed and thought my nails were bad when i left. but i was very pleased today. i was asked multiple times if i was still ok with everything (shape color etc) i had good small talk as well!
Average treatment. The man who did my pedicure seemed to be bored and rushed through it, and then just a couple days later, two of the acrylic nails fell off! I called and asked for a redo and they would not comply. In the past I have enjoyed my treatments there, so I will give them another chance and hope to be treated better the next time.
RUDEST NAIL SALON EVER. I have been here several times, always paying cash for my services and arriving on time, if not early for all my appointments. I sadly have not received excellent service when coming, whether it's a massage that was too brief, or painting my actual skin instead of nail or being too rough on when trimming my cuticles making me bleed. I always make an appointment when I come to Crescent and not once have I ever been seen on time. I wait an average of 20-30 minutes past my appointment and have never once complained. Last night was the final straw when I made an appointment for a pedicure at 5:30pm and at 4:45pm had to cancel due to a family emergency. Dennis, who runs scheduling and the front desk left me the RUDEST voicemail around 5:40pm scolding me for not showing up to my appointment. I called him right back to explain that my friend had canceled the appointment for me beforehand and then he preceded to berate me for not doing it sooner. Keep in mind, my friend who was at the salon in person to cancel my appointment was there with a giftcard that I had also paid for. I can't believe Dennis thinks this is appropriate behavior to loyal customers. I could absolutely understand his frustration if this was a common occurrence but absolutely unprofessional language and behavior for a salon that treats their clients like a puppy mill.
I don’t know why they asked me to pay cash they don’t accept debit card on Saturdays and Sunday’s ? What? Yes they want cash This is the 1st time and last time please do not go to this place I will go back again, I done my nails Saturday morning today is Monday 2 days , polish came out, plus the lady was worried about how many customers she can get for less time she took 20 minutes on my nails she did it so fast not good job
I’m so disappointed I will never come back again
I tried this place for the second time and I’m not impressed. The first time the tech was new and doing a different technique and everyone was talking and laughing at him and staring at my hands and gossiping in a different language so I couldn’t understand.
I decided to give it another try. They seemed annoyed that I needed a dip manicure (which I booked) and kept asking me over and over if I wanted dip with annoyed faces. My nails look good but my cuticles are cut up and so are the tips of my hands. When he was using the grinder, I was seriously in pain and had to yell owe to get him to stop cutting me. They reuse tools between customers without washing and brushes were all dirty… so I’m concerned about all the cuts on my fingers. I don’t feel it’s a sanitary place and will go elsewhere in Bend.
