I was visiting from out of towb looking for a reasonably priced barber and was recommended this one by the hotel.$28 for a great haircut. Traditional older gentleman barber. Probably more experience that some of us added together. Alfredo was very gentle and did a great job. He was triple checking with me to be sure I was happy. Chatty too. Cheaper than some places charging $50 dollars. Would go again. Happy customer.

One of the best barber shops in Chicago for the value. Was able to come in and get served right away during the week. Overall very pleased

Jason is the man, solid haircut with a clean neck shave that my girl absolutely loves. It's growing out nicely too. Always feel at home in this barber shop.

Been to Alfredo's a few times and depending on who I get, they generally give me a great cut, no complaints.

The last two times though, I got the older quiet man who works there part-time, and I'm not gonna lie, I don't think this guy had any idea what he was doing. After my haircut the other day, I came home and found a big, deep cut across the back of my neck from the trimmer he was using trying to line me up. Worst thing is - he knew he did that to me and didn't even bother to say anything or apologize. Instead, he decided not to give me the hot shaving cream treatment at the end that I've gotten with every haircut, probably because he realized I would realize he busted up my neck. I never want to call for someone's job but please let this guy go.

So much for a nice $30 haircut. I'll be taking myself somewhere else next time. At least Sports Clips will know to just cut my hair and not my neck. And they take credit cards like every other business in the year 2021. Sorry.
