Quick Facts About Aloha Nails & Spa
Strengths of Aloha Nails & Spa:
1. Quality service: Despite the negative reviews, some customers have had positive experiences with the salon. One customer mentioned that the woman who took off their dip nails was nice, gentle, and did a great job without damaging their nails. Another customer commended the salon for delivering a flawless finish every time, particularly on short nails. This suggests that the salon has skilled technicians who can provide quality services.
2. Attention to detail: The customer who had their dip nails removed mentioned that the technician noticed that the previous salon had made mistakes in the removal process. They were impressed with the technician's attention to detail and the fact that they only charged $10 instead of the originally quoted $15. This demonstrates that the salon pays attention to the quality of their work and is willing to rectify any mistakes made by other salons.
3. Cleanliness: Several customers mentioned that Aloha Nails & Spa is clean, and they witnessed the technicians sanitizing their tools and basins after each client. This is an important aspect of maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for customers. Cleanliness is crucial in preventing the spread of infections and ensuring a positive experience for clients.
4. Professional and nice staff: Despite the negative experiences described by some customers, others acknowledged that the salon's staff was professional and nice. One customer mentioned that the manicurists were friendly and kind, while another appreciated the technician's gentle approach during the removal process. Having pleasant and professional staff is essential for creating a positive atmosphere and building customer loyalty.
Weaknesses of Aloha Nails & Spa:
1. Inconsistent customer service: Several customers complained about the staff's attitude and treatment towards them. These complaints ranged from rudeness to being ignored. One customer mentioned that the technician left them waiting for over an hour, ignoring their time constraints and not delivering the service they requested. Inconsistent customer service can lead to dissatisfaction and negative reviews, potentially driving customers away.
2. Long waiting time: The customer who came in for an eyebrow and lip wax mentioned that they had to wait for 30 minutes even after completing their grocery shopping at the adjacent store. Another customer also expressed frustration about the waiting time, as they were left waiting while the technician attended to other customers. Long waiting times can be inconvenient for customers, especially if they have time-sensitive commitments.
3. Negative atmosphere: One customer mentioned feeling embarrassed and walking out in tears due to how they were treated by the staff. Negative experiences and a hostile atmosphere can create a poor image for the salon and deter potential customers from visiting.
4. Pricing and price discrepancies: One customer complained about the high price they were charged for a pedicure, which they deemed mediocre at best. Another customer mentioned being charged a different price than what was initially quoted. Consistency and transparency in pricing are crucial for customer satisfaction and trust.
Overall, Aloha Nails & Spa has its strengths in terms of quality service, attention to detail, cleanliness, and professional staff. However, the salon also suffers from weaknesses such as inconsistent customer service, long waiting times, negative atmosphere, and potential pricing issues. Improvements in these areas can lead to a better customer experience and contribute to the salon's success.

I came here yesterday afternoon to get my eyebrows waxed and lip waxed. I've been here before but didn't come here in a long time because of a bad experience I had. But I figured since I hadn't been here in a long time things may of changed and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt Well when I first walked in I asked how much a eyebrow and lip wax would be she let me know and told me to come back in a half an hour I told her that's fine because I'm grocery shopping at Safeway next door. After shopping I still sat there 30 minutes till I got my eyebrows done and when I walked in to get them done the lady was rude to me and told me my eyebrows were not even well thats the whole reason I came here to get them cleaned up and even. Also I haven't been able to go get my eyebrows done professionally in a while so yeah there not perfect. I understand maybe she was stressed because it was busy but don't take it out on your customers. Also I saw a lady with her son who came in and asked for a full set and got ignored by the lady until the lady asked again how rude!
I'm gonna start with everytime I have came into this place I spend around $60 and a tip, and as soon as I walk in this woman is rude to me, everytime. But I was in the area and needed my nails done, so I called and asked if she was busy she no and to come right now, so I did. I had a few nails that needed to come off, so she starts on my nails (I'm the only person in there) well then a lady comes in and she jumps up and leaves me to do hers. I was kind of aggravated but that's ok. While doing her nails a second woman comes in. As soon as she was done she got up and did the other woman's nails, so I told her I have to leave soon, I told her at the beginning I only had a little over an hour to do this. Then I reminded her a half an hour later that I only have about a half hour, she looked at me and ignored me. When she started the second woman's nails I said I gotta go at this point I have no time at all, I just sat there for over an hour for nothing, she comes over pics my hands up and tells me to go. LOL ok. So the pics I posted are how I left her salon. I will never return to that place, and if anyone has an attitude with you for no reason, do not spend your money at their business. Hopefully one day someone tells this lady about herself, I'm sorry it wasn't me. I was so embarrassed of how she treated me at the end, I was crying walking out the door. DO BETTER, YOUR CUSTOMERS PAY FOR YOUR BUSINESS.
I walked in here today to get my dip nails removed, (i had them done at a different salon and they did such a bad job they were cracking and popping off after 8 days) the woman who took them off was so nice and gentle and took them off in about 5 minutes without damaging my nails. She originally said $15 but she only charged me $10. She said the other salon did everything wrong, you could still see my previous color underneath! Meaning they didn't fully remove the old color! No wonder they didn't bond correctly! Im definitely coming back to aloha for my next set. They are professional and nice. Thank you so much ????????
So to be totally honest, I was super nervous coming here bc of all the bad reviews AND I'm really picky already. But my experience was amazing. Its actually my new favorite nail place in all of skagit (and I've been to pretty much every one). It didn't smell overly like chemicals, it was as clean as any other nail place. It was super quiet and peaceful as well, which was amazing. I picked the color and shape and said to suprise me with a design and it turned out amazing. Loved it!!!
Always kind and I usually call ahead to make sure they have availability. I'm a pedicure person !
Great place! Very clean and manicurists are so nice. Had a pedicure and the added sugar scrub felt amazing! Watched them clean and sanitize tools and basins after each client. Wish I lived in the area so I could come here all the time!
I went here 2 hours ago and took my two granddaughters (7 and 12 year olds) and I got a pedicure. It was mediocre at best. All I got was a warm bath and nail polish. My granddaughters both were supposed to get a full set. My 7 year old got a set and my 12 year old got ignored for the whole 1 hour 1/2 we where there. She got no attention at all. To my surprise I got charged $105. Terrible service, highly overpriced, do not recommend.
They do exceptional work! Short nails are VERY challenging but Aloha delivers a flawless finish every time. I never have to worry about embarrassing nail designs from Aloha--I love this nail salon!!
