This was my first visit and will definitely not be my last. This place is always busy so do not let the line/crowd scare you. Most definitely worth the wait!!!!! The wait staff were all very congenial. The food here is spectacular!!!!!! I do not do sweets or make it my choice for a meal......but the snickerdoodle pancake is OUTTA THIS WORLD!¡¡! I have attached photos of the pancake.....definitely try this no matter what else you order. The food was prompt and hot and very flavorful!!!!! I cannot say enough about this true gem in Tucson!!!!¡
Went here again and was pleased to find the quality of the food remains consistently high. I had the Caramelo and it was amazing. The combination of flavors hits home and is perfectly complimented by the pickled onions. We also had a pineapple express pancake and loved it again. The caramelized sugar adds a nice big of texture to the traditionally soft breakfast.
This was my first visit here. Heard about how good it was but never tried to go. We got sat right away, even though it was super busy. The food had great presentation, good flavors, fresh ingredients, and super sized portions. The menu is extensive and a little over whelming but I think that added to my experience as it made me want to go back and try more items. Definitely will return.
Very nice and outta the way place to catch a wonderful breakfast or brunch. Our server was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu as well as recommendations. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant, our food was delicious and very well cooked, our waiter was very attentive and accommodating as well as friendly. Definitely a good place to grab a bite to eat in Tucson weather you're a local looking to try something new or if you're just visiting and want to have an excellent breakfast or lunch.
First time visiting this restaurant. Visited after hearing from a friend. Food was top notch. The place was packed with customers. Though it was busy, the server was very attentive and gave some good suggestions regarding the menu.
If you happen to be in the area for breakfast or lunch...a place worth considering. However...do know you can expect to wait to be served but in my case...it was well worth the wait and more!
The Baja Cafe could easily earn a 10 star rating!! The food was spectacular!! We had the cinnamon roll (pecan) pancake, lemon blueberry pancake, short rib tots, The Trainwreck, and The King Kong!!
The 60 minute wait was well worth it!! We will definitely visit Baja Cafe when we are visited Tucson in the future!!
Friendly staff, food comes out fast, lots of options, and absolutely amazing when it comes to taste. I forgot the name of the dish I tried, but there were layers of flavor that were just too good. Every dish has intricate parts to it, and the vibe is just super fun! I’m 100% going again !
oh. my. god.
You want a Benedict? Some delicious pancakes? Authentic Mexican food?

I’m traveling for work and googled the best places to eat for lunch the other day. This place had the highest rating so I made my way over.
Honestly idk if anywhere I’ve eaten in Tucson has topped this yet. The cinnamon roll pancake? Literally perfect. The wolverine Benedict? I ate half so I could make sure I had the other half to eat later. So. Good.
If you’re on the fence and not sure where to eat, this is the place. This will always be the place.
PLUS. Their patio is pet friendly. Brunch, mimosas, AND puppies?
