Quick Facts About Baldwin Nail
Baldwin Nail Place, based on the comments provided, has both strengths and weaknesses.
One strength of the salon is the presence of talented and skilled nail technicians. Linny, for example, was praised for her meticulousness, ability to understand and recreate specific nail designs, and her friendly and accommodating nature. Another commenter mentioned Jade and her incredible nail art skills. These positive experiences with the staff showcase the salon's talent in providing quality nail services.
Another strength of Baldwin Nail Place is the efficiency and convenience it offers. One customer mentioned that they have been coming to the salon for 13 years and can easily walk in without making an appointment. This suggests that the salon can handle walk-ins and provide quick services, which is beneficial for customers who are in a hurry or have a spontaneous desire for a manicure or pedicure.
The salon's stylish and well-decorated interior also received praise, with one customer being immediately impressed with the decor upon entering. A pleasant and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere can contribute to a positive customer experience and create a sense of luxury or relaxation.
However, despite these strengths, Baldwin Nail Place also has several weaknesses. One recurring issue highlighted in the comments is the poor customer service. One customer mentioned the rude and unfriendly attitude of the nail technician, who did not even crack a smile or ask how the customer was doing. Another customer had a terrible experience with a nail technician who not only delivered a poor manicure but also treated the customer disrespectfully and spoke poorly about them to coworkers. These incidents reflect poorly on the salon's customer service and can leave customers feeling undervalued or disrespected.
In addition to the customer service issues, there were also complaints about the quality of the manicures and pedicures. One customer mentioned that their nails looked splotchy, and another mentioned that the manicure received did not meet their expectations for a $70.00 service. There were also complaints about cuts and injuries caused during pedicures, suggesting a lack of attention to detail or proper training. These negative experiences with the quality of the services provided can deter customers from returning to Baldwin Nail Place.
Furthermore, the salon only accepting MasterCard and Visa, and not Discover, can be seen as a disadvantage for those who prefer or only have Discover credit cards. This limitation in payment options may inconvenience potential customers and reduce their willingness to choose Baldwin Nail Place over other salons.
In conclusion, Baldwin Nail Place has strengths such as a talented and skilled staff, efficiency and convenience, and an aesthetically pleasing environment. However, the salon also has weaknesses in customer service, quality control, and limited payment options. These weaknesses, particularly in customer service and service quality, should be addressed and improved upon to create a better overall experience for customers and increase customer retention.

I’ve already been here several times before and I usually have a decent experience, that was before I met Linny. She had done a pedicure for my husband (and a great job of that too) and when I came back, she serviced me.
It was a Monday evening, pretty slow but she took her time and was very meticulous. She helped me with a picture of how I wanted my nails and giving me the colors for me to find them.
She was super friendly and super social, I’m very accommodating to my requests. When I showed her the picture and told her I wanted something close to this, she knew exactly what to do. She built upon what I already had, fixed my nails, and drew the design. Guys, straight lines are not easy especially on nails. She’s an amazing nail technician who is really good at nail designs.
She did give me a warning about checking with her she could do the design first, so I do recommend if you have an idea to drop by and bring it up to her. She is great, she took very good care of me, and I’ll definitely continue to come back.
I will never ever ever step foot into this establishment again. Inside my nails didn’t look terrible. It wasn’t until I paid and walked outside that I realized this is the worst absolute worst manicure I had ever received. I walked back in hopes of getting a refund for my manicure (pedicure is fine) the manager refused and offered me a gift card to come back another time and for them to fix it.
Okay this is where I officially decided that this place was trash. The small man child who did my nails then began to treat me terribly and spoke to me in a manner that I have never been spoken to before. I always treat people kindly even when they are the least deserving. As we were both walking out I even held the door open for him behind me and he proceeded to pull the door shut as I was still holding it and he was being loud and disrespectful, throwing his hands up and started talking trash about me to his coworkers. He is very lucky that I wasn’t holding the door with the arm that was recently dislocated because I would have called the police and pressed charges for assault. After that happened, I walked back into Baldwin nails, handed the gift certificate back to the manager and proceeded to tell him that I will never ever return.
Now does this look like a $70.00 manicure to you. I got matte top coat as well and not only is the color completely splotchy the top coat is inconsistent.
I’ve been coming to this nail salon for years. I’ve always had wonderful experiences every time I’ve been there. I just found Jade, and she’s amazing. Her nail art is incredible. Both me and my six-year-old are in love with our nails.
I really wanted to like this place since I live down the street. The lady who did my nails was so rude. Didn’t even crack a smile or ask how I’m doing. I don’t like to talk much while I get my nails done, but this experience was cold and transactional. She had no problem laughing and joking with her colleagues though. The pedicure was decent but the service is horrible.
It was the most horrible experience I’ve had. This lady didn’t know what she was doing, my nails look horrific. She cut my skin 4 times. She hurt my toes more than once. It was a total disaster!!! She shouldn’t be allowed to touch people’s feet at all. I asked for the regular pedicure price $38. I paid $48!!! Whyyyyy! I did not get gel or anything fancy. I won’t be back into this place that looks so fancy and it’s located in the fancy area to have the worst treatment of my life. They treat me better at any other place on Colonial than here. Shame on you!! So upset.
I’ve been going to June for 5 months and she never disappoints! Highly recommend her services!!
Looked around town for a place to get a pedicure, and I chose here thanks to good ratings + open until 8pm! Immediately impressed upon walking in with the decor. Even though I was a walk-in, I was taken right away!
Even though I only got the Baldwin Pedicure ($35), I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. Ana did an excellent job hitting every step along the way, so much so that I decided to do the manicure for an additional $10.
WARNING: They only accept MasterCard/Visa it seems. No Discover :(
I’ve been coming to Baldwin Park Nails for 13 years. I never have to make an appointment, and I can get in and out quickly when I am in a hurry. All of the nail techs are great, highly recommend!
