Quick Facts About Barber Shop

The comments provided give us a glimpse into the strengths and weaknesses of this particular barber shop. It is evident that there are significant issues and dissatisfaction among customers. Below, we will discuss the strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Strengths: 1. Cleanliness: One comment mentioned that the place was clean. This indicates that the barber shop maintains a clean and hygienic environment for its customers.
2. Service: Another comment noted that the service was usually nice. While this is a positive aspect, it is important to consider that it may depend on the individual barber providing the service.
3. One competent barber: One customer specifically mentioned that a particular barber (the lady with short hair and round glasses) did a better job than others. This indicates that there is at least one skilled and competent barber at the shop.
Weaknesses: 1. Lack of skill: Many comments emphasized the lack of skill among the barbers. Customers mentioned that they would not come here unless they were desperate and that their haircuts were consistently ruined. This suggests that the barbers lack the necessary skills to provide satisfactory and desired haircuts.
2. Poor communication: Numerous customers complained about the barbers' inability to understand their instructions. This resulted in incorrect haircuts and dissatisfaction. Effective communication is crucial in a barber shop to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Rushed service: Several comments expressed dissatisfaction with the speed at which haircuts were carried out. Customers felt that the barbers were more interested in rushing through the process to collect money, rather than providing a quality service. This rushed service is likely the cause of many botched haircuts.
4. Pricing issues: One customer mentioned an issue with the pricing where they were overcharged, highlighting a lack of transparency in the payment process. Another customer expressed concern over the high prices, especially for single soldiers. Pricing issues can deter customers and lead to dissatisfaction.
5. Discrimination: One customer reported being turned away from the barber shop because of their gender, which is illegal and discriminatory. This incident raises concerns about equal treatment and accessibility of services.
In conclusion, this barber shop has some weaknesses that significantly impact customer satisfaction. The lack of skill among most barbers, poor communication, rushed service, pricing issues, and instances of discrimination are clear weaknesses. However, there are some strengths, such as cleanliness and the presence of at least one competent barber. Improvements in skill training, attentive communication, transparent pricing, and addressing discriminatory practices are necessary to improve the overall customer experience at this barber shop.

If I could rate this barber shop a zero I would. Do not come here unless you are absolutely desperate and want a bowl placed on your head, then cut after you asked for a fade. This place is quick to rush you out looking like a clown. I had to literally walk an “experienced” barber on what a fade is suppose to look like. I’ve been in the military for about 17 years now and I can honestly say this has been the worst haircut I have ever received. I was literally sweating in the seat thinking I was going to have to shave my head after this session. All they care about is how quick they can cut your hair so they can collect your money and put the next victim in the seat. This is how they left my soldier about a month ago and I stillllllll decided to give it a shot… Word of advice to all SM on Schofield Barracks, DO NOT COME HERE!!!
Worst of the worst. Avoid this place at all costs no matter what. Never in my life have I experienced a barbershop as bad as this place. The most simple haircut is well beyond anyone’s skill set in there. They will ruin your hair.
DO NOT COME HERE
Careful of the games that are played. Haircut is $18. I asked the lady to charge my card $20 to include a $2 tip. She then charges $25 and claims she misheard me. Then I ask for my money back so she goes back to her chair and doesn't give me the full amount back. I just took what she gave me and left rather than make a scene. This sort of stuff is common in some parts of the world, but shouldn't happen in the US, especially on base. Management should be made aware.
Place was clean, service usually nice, hair cuts depends on which barber you get.
Every time I go here they always mess it up. They cant understand a word you’re going say. Not once I have gotten a haircut that I asked for. And it’s $18 minimum for whatever they do. This last time I went was the worse. Asked them to leave 2 inches on top and the hair cutter got the #2 guard and just cut all my hair off. I’m not a barber but if I was I would know that that wouldn’t leave 2 inches of hair. Not one of the staff members there know what they are doing. They don’t even clean up the seat or nothing before you go to get your cut. Sitting in other peoples hair because they are too lazy to actually do their job. Line is always super long too. Thanks for stealing my $18 and leaving me looking like Calliou
The lady with short hair (black hair) and round glasses. She did better then the last lady that cut my hair here.
Also I watched her, give another person a haircut she took time, while the other lady was flying past haircuts.
I would recommend watching how the the ladies cut the hair so you won’t end up like the three soldiers I saw with bad cuts.
Sorry but not sorry if I cause drama or whatever at this workplace.
This barber shop turned me away because even though I'm an active duty E6, I'm female and was told I needed to go to the salon only, which was booked out for 3 days. How is that legal? Apparently, only men can get their hair cut here.
Haircut prices have gone up significantly I wish that would change especially for the single soldiers. There are 2 other barber shops that are by tropics and the bowling alley they provide better prices and they actually spend time and care about cutting your hair. I would not recommend this place for a nice haircut. Just go here if it's your last resort for a quick and easy cut to get into regs after you get yelled at for being out of regs.
