Quick Facts About Barocco Wales

Barocco Wales has several strengths that make it an attractive place for visitors. Firstly, its location is highly praised, with one comment describing it as a "Mega Location für eine Shopping Pause." Being situated on the edge of the water, it offers a pleasant and relaxing setting for customers to enjoy their time.
The service is also mentioned positively in several comments, with customers noting the polite and helpful nature of the staff. One person even mentions having a fabulous time watching the world go by with a cold beer. Another comment mentions friendly and accommodating bar staff, emphasizing the positive experience they had at the establishment.
The bar's offerings are also commended in a few reviews. One comment mentions the 2 for 1 cocktails for £10 until 7pm, highlighting the good value it offers. Another comment mentions the 90s/2000s R&B music playing at night, creating a fun atmosphere for customers to hang out. The presence of an in-house DJ spinning tunes at night adds to the vibrancy of the bar.
The presence of Karl, who is described as a great host, is also seen as a strength. He is known for looking after Cardiff Rugby / RFC fans and even entertaining customers with his singing abilities. This personal touch and customer care contributes to a positive experience for patrons.
However, there are also some weaknesses that have been mentioned in the comments. One customer complains about the lack of attention they received at the bar. Despite waiting for ten minutes, none of the five bar staff acknowledged their presence or served them. This type of poor service can turn customers away and give them a negative impression of the establishment.
Another comment mentions the constant loud music from the open bar upstairs, which could be disruptive for those looking for a quieter dining experience. The noise level may be suitable for younger customers but may not be ideal for others seeking a more relaxed atmosphere.
Additionally, one customer mentions that they found the food to be pricey. While they enjoyed the carbonara, the high cost could deter some customers from dining at the restaurant. Pricing is an important factor for many customers when deciding where to eat, and if they feel the prices are too high for the quality of food, they may choose to dine elsewhere.
In conclusion, Barocco Wales has several strengths that make it an appealing place to visit. Its location, service, and offerings are all praised in the comments. However, there are also some weaknesses to consider, such as poor bar service, loud music, and pricey food. These weaknesses may impact the overall experience for some customers and potentially deter them from returning.

Mega Location für eine Shopping Pause
Nice little place on the edge of the water not a lot on tap but after the hottest weekend ever it's no surprise! Polite helpful service and had a fab time watching the world go by with a cold beer
Walked in early Friday evening. Fairly quiet for a Friday with no one waiting at the bar. Waited at the bar for ten minutes, with none of the five bar staff paying me any attention. Not a word to even acknowledge I was there or waiting. Girl arrives at bar, she got served straight away. I left.
Won’t be going back.
Came here for a quick drink, 2 for 1 cocktails for £10 until 7pm is good value. Table service available. Friendly and accommodating bar staff.
Good place to hangout. They have 90s/2000s R&B music playing at night.
Always drop in for a Latte in the day time to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. At night it's a warm vibrant busy bar with in house dj spinning tunes. The service is great with friendly bar staff.
Popular bar especially during happy hour for cocktails. Decor is far more interesting than most in Cardiff. Karl is a great host and really looks after Cardiff Rugby / RFC fans. He can sing a bit too - especially happy birthday ????????
The restaurant is upstairs above the open bar so constant loud music, ok for the youngsters. I thought the food was pricey but enjoyed the carbonara.
