Quick Facts About Bartlett Barber Shop
Bartlett Barber Shop has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation and customer satisfaction.
Firstly, the barber shop is widely praised for its chill vibe and great decor. Customers appreciate the character and quirkiness of the shop, with mentions of the birds and a rabbit adding to the unique atmosphere. The old school feel of the checkerboard floor, memorabilia-covered walls, and real barber chairs contribute to the overall charm of the place.
The owner, Robin, is highly regarded for her skills and customer service. Customers consistently mention that she did a fantastic job on their haircuts and beard trims. Additionally, customers appreciate Robin's friendly and personable nature. She engages in fun and great conversation, which adds to the enjoyable experience of visiting the shop.
Another strength of Bartlett Barber Shop is its affordability. Customers mention the low prices for various services such as haircuts, neck straight-razor shaves, and hot towel finishes. The fact that customers feel they receive an experience that is worth more than what they paid is a testament to the value offered by the shop.
Customers also appreciate the consistency that comes with Robin being the sole barber in the shop. They mention that they like knowing who will be cutting their hair each time they visit, as opposed to other places where new faces are constantly present. This creates a sense of trust and familiarity, which contributes to customers' loyalty to the shop.
Moreover, Bartlett Barber Shop receives positive feedback for its excellent treatment and quality service. Customers mention receiving hot lather straight razor neck shaves, eyebrow trims, and hot towels for an incredibly reasonable price. They appreciate the attention to detail and the personalized care provided by Robin.
The welcoming and friendly nature of the staff is another strength of the shop. Customers mention that they feel comfortable and at ease during their visits due to the warm atmosphere. The shop is not overly busy, resulting in short wait times, which further adds to the positive experience.
However, it is important to acknowledge some potential weaknesses of Bartlett Barber Shop based on the comments provided.
One potential weakness is the limited availability of services. As mentioned, Robin is the only barber working at the shop. While customers appreciate the consistency this brings, it may limit the shop's ability to accommodate a large number of customers at once. This could potentially lead to longer wait times during busy periods or difficulty booking appointments.
Another potential weakness is the shop's reliance on cash payments. While some customers may not have an issue with this, others who prefer using card payments may find it inconvenient. Offering more payment options, such as card payment facilities, could cater to a wider range of customers and enhance convenience.
In conclusion, Bartlett Barber Shop possesses several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. The chill vibe, great decor, and quirky atmosphere create a unique experience for customers. Robin's skills, friendliness, and engaging conversation further enhance the customer experience. The affordability of services and excellent treatment add value to the customer's visit. While the limited availability of services and reliance on cash payments may pose some weaknesses, addressing these areas could further improve the overall customer satisfaction at Bartlett Barber Shop.

Awesome barber shop. Chill vibe, great decor. I think this will definitely be my new spot
Great place, full of character and quirkinesses especially with the birds and a rabbit kicking around, which is just brilliant, words don’t really do it justice. The owner Robin was lovely, a great character and did a fantastic job on my haircut and beard trim, and provided some very fun and great conversation. Will be back for sure next time I’m in Memphis!
This is the barber shop I've been looking for, for years. It's got old school feel, -with the checkerboard floor, memorabilia covered walls, real barber chairs, a rabbit scurrying around, and a parrot cawing from the owner, Robin's head. How much more old school can you get? I got a haircut, neck straight-razor shave, a hot towel finish and great conversation all for only $12 bucks. It was easily a $20 experience!
Robin told me she's owned the place for over 5 years, and she's the only one there that cuts hair. So when you walk in, you know exactly who will be cutting your hair. I like that. Most places I've been to over the past 5 years have a new face everytime I come in. And some look as fresh as the ink on their new licenses hanging on the wall.
I will never go to another Mcquick-cut joint again. And neither should you. "Head" over to see Robin for your next trim. Be sure to bring cash. She has a ball and chain for plastic only customers ????
Was impressed with the service, excellent treatment, requested a buzz cut. Got a quality cut, hot lather straight razor neck shave, eye brow's trimmed and hot towel to neck and head for 12$. Old fashion service for a great price. Robin was personable and pleasant. Even my wife was impressed with the work. Will return and recommend to others.
I too will also continue to visit Robin, for my next haircuts too come. She was great to get to know in a short period of time, and I love my haircut right the first time around and she nailed it!!
Thanks Again, Robin

Seriously, the best barber ever. Been here several times, but the other day I was running behind and had a job interview. I tell this to Robin, the barber and a gentleman overhears and let's me go next. Not only was is Robin the faster barber in the West, she did a perfect job. This place is great, the atmosphere is cool, and full of stories. Oh, and to her is a bunny rabbit.
Very friendly and welcoming. It wasn’t too busy so not a very long wait. And great quality haircut with low prices. Tip her well!
Quaint is the word. First time there and I could dig the vibes. The classic rock and roll album covers on the wall, a parrot and the conversations going on when I walked in suggested to me I had found what I was looking for. My old clip joint had closed up shop and I had moved so I needed a barber in my new area. Robin. FOUND IT. Great haircut. Great price, $12.00. I had read reviews about Robin and Bartlet Barber Shop and they were on the money. Good job to Robin and my hope's are she hangs around for the next 20 yrs or so.
