Quick Facts About Battersea Fish Bar
Battersea Fish Bar has received mostly positive comments about their food, with many customers praising the taste and quality of their fish and chips. The fish is described as perfectly cooked, flavourful, and always cooked to order. The portion size is also commendable, with one customer mentioning that they received a large portion of fish for great value for money. The chips are also mentioned as being ample and not very oily, which is what is expected from a good fish and chips meal.
The delivery service is also well-regarded, with one customer mentioning that it was fast and quicker than expected. However, some customers do mention that the prices at Battersea Fish Bar are a bit more expensive than what they are used to. This could potentially be seen as a weakness, especially for customers who are looking for more affordable dining options.
One of the strengths of Battersea Fish Bar is their customer service. Multiple customers mention that the staff is friendly, relaxed, and handle difficult customers with respect and class. This is an important aspect of any restaurant, as good customer service can greatly contribute to a positive dining experience.
Another strength mentioned by a customer is the "good relationship" between Battersea Fish Bar and the café next door. This allows customers to use the seats of the café while dining at the fish bar, providing additional seating options and potentially attracting more customers.
On the other hand, there are a few negative comments about the food and service at Battersea Fish Bar. One customer mentions that the burgers were only okay, indicating that the quality of the burgers may not be as consistent as the fish and chips. Another customer mentions that the chips were dry and horrid, and the wings were overcooked. This inconsistency in the quality of food is a weakness that Battersea Fish Bar needs to address in order to maintain a positive reputation.
There is also a comment about the service not being up to par, with a customer mentioning that they were given incorrect information about the payment methods. This could be a weakness if the staff is not properly trained or if there is a lack of communication between staff members.
In conclusion, Battersea Fish Bar has several strengths that make it a popular choice for fish and chips in Battersea. The taste and quality of the fish and chips are highly regarded, as is the fast delivery service. The friendly and relaxed staff also contribute to a positive dining experience. However, there are areas that need improvement, such as the consistency of the food quality and the accuracy of information provided by the staff. By addressing these weaknesses, Battersea Fish Bar can continue to be a go-to place for fish and chips in the area.

Ordered from here when I was staying London.
Very tasty fish! Perfectly cooked and flavourful. Chips and cheese did not disappoint either. Delivery was fast and quicker than expected. A bit more expensive than what I'm used to but London prices I guess.
Really can't complain about anything.
Keep up the good work!
Had Burgers and Fish and Chips here, went for take out. Burgers were ok.
Fish and chips were great. Large portion of fish, great value for money, ample chips in combo. Food was not very oily and crisp and exactly what fish and chips should be.
Service was great, those working there handled difficult customers with respect and class. I was very impressed. Seemed like there was a lot of ‘regulars’ coming in while I waited for food which is always a great sign of a good restaurant.
Would recommend.
Excellent fish and chips, always cooked to order and never reheated. One of the best chippy's in Battersea.
Sorry but worst chippy chips ever.. dry, just horrid. Chicken fillet burger was OK, a tad spicy though.
Very poor food. Got a wings meal. Wings overcooked. Chips made me feel sick. Only edible thing was the capri-sun i got with it.
Great food. I would definitely recommend
Food is good but the service not so. Asked specifically if they took card and the answer was yes, when I went to pick up the food a cash only sign magically appeared and refused to take card. As soon as I walked away low and behold.. they took card!
Friendly relaxed staff, nicely deep fried cod. Had a battered sausage too.
You can set at the seats of the café next door - they "have a good relationship".
