Ordered the triple combination plate, umami fries, and the pork belly bao and it was all incredible. Best Hawaiian fusion on the island. Staff was incredibly nice and the food and drinks came out quick despite the happy hour rush. 10/10 will come back as many times as I can.
bEASTside Kitchen’s Loco Mocos SLAY!! The fried tempura fish is amazing so good we ate it before I could get a picture. Thank you for the incredible customer service, delightful atmosphere and delicious local grinds!
So happy to have a new restaurant in the Hawaii Kai area. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Every dish we've tried has been top notch and live music just rounds out the experience.
The guava chicken was okay. I didn't taste any guava. Just tasted like regular fried chicken. The Mac salad was good though.
The umami fries were pretty gross. There was a giant pool of oil at the bottom when I tilted it. And the fries were like 80% fried and 20% potato. It's like they left the fries on the fryer for too long. It was so salty and so hard that it kept breaking the fork.
This was the island food we were looking for.
The shrimp trucks you hear about? Overrated. Hands down some of the best shrimp we’ve ever eaten.
The guava fried chicken and the teri beef were also really really good. And don’t leave without grabbing some mochi.
Stopped here for lunch and went with the Pork Belly Bao Buns and Garlic Umami fries, full of flavor and absolutely amazing! Buns were fresh and soft and the pork belly was so tender and juicy. The fries were crisp and the sauce that went on it brought it to another level!
Highly recommend stopping here for great food and music!
bEASTside Kitchen is truly a hidden gem in Nui Valley. Before an appointment, my husband and I were looking for a new place to have lunch and we uncovered this diamond in the rough! Great food, great service and they even have music ???? at night. Highly recommend checking it out.
We stopped here for lunch on our way back from the North Shore. The food was very good and the service was fantastic as our waitress was very friendly and attentive.
I ordered the Smoked Pork Belly plate and we got the Spam Masubi Keiki meals for my boys. Both dishes were good and I’d rate the fries as some of the best!
I deducted a star for the flies that seemed to hover around our booth in the back corner though. It’s no fault of the restaurant, but it made for a distracting meal.
