Visited this shop a couple of times, and the owners are very nice and extremely helpful. They also have quite a few options available for hair enthusiasts. Only reason I gave a 4 star is because their prices are quite high compared to what you can find online, and the no return/exchange policy. However, I would still patronize them because of convenience and excellent service!

Good price. Fast shopping, great treatment, nice employee, lot of stuff find there i found all my stuff there.

They do not open at 8:30am. Showed up at 8:40am and the door was locked. Other customers were out there as well. I won’t be going back. SK beauty here you’ve made a regular customer out of me.

The review that Shani left is 100% accurate. The owners and staff here are nice. I'm not a talker and prefer to be left alone while I shop and they respect that (no following you around like a thief.) But they don't know EVERYTHING about hair and don't assume to. I'm not the type to go into a beauty supply store asking for help, so if you are go to Beauty World on Avondale. They have staff equipped for that level of service. Here, I walk in knowing what I'm looking for and the staff at Beauty Land are always helpful guiding me to products. I get so tired of people crying about not getting special treatment in stores. Newsflash. You're a regular person, and a cordial hello should suffice. You don't need a red carpet rolled out to buy some bobby pins sis. I'm ALWAYS greeted when I walk in, I'm asked about my day, and I'm asked if I need any help. So if you have a problem with service here, you are probably the problem.

There have been a couple of times where they didn't have the product I was looking for, but the owner made a note and ordered it. Few store owners care and listen that much.

This is the best store in Durham they give great price and very nice service. They give lot of samples too.
