Quick Facts About Best African Hair Braiding
Best African Hair Braiding place has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, many customers appreciate the friendliness of the staff at the braiding shop. They have mentioned that the workers were polite, nice, and great with kids, creating a positive and comfortable atmosphere for customers. The fast service provided by the staff is also seen as a strength, with some customers mentioning that they were quick in braiding their hair. Additionally, there are positive comments about the quality of the braids, with some customers mentioning that their hair came out beautiful and cute. These positive comments on the staff's behavior and the quality of the braids indicate the potential strength of the salon in terms of customer service and skill.
Moving on to the weaknesses highlighted in the comments, pricing seems to be a major concern for several customers. Many customers have complained about being quoted one price initially but being charged a different and higher price once the braiding was done. This inconsistency in pricing and the feeling of being overcharged can be seen as a weakness of the establishment. Several customers have also expressed disappointment with the cost of the services, stating that they felt it was too high for the hairdo they received. These pricing issues can lead to a negative perception of the salon's value for money.
Another weakness mentioned by customers is the inconsistency in the neatness of the braids. Some customers have mentioned that the parts were not uniform, making the hairstyle look less neat and nice. This lack of attention to detail in the braiding technique can be seen as a weakness in the skill level of the stylists. Moreover, customers have also expressed dissatisfaction with the type of hair used for braiding. This suggests that the salon may not offer a wide variety of hair options, limiting the choices available to customers.
Some customers have also mentioned that the staff talks loudly over the customers' heads while they are getting their hair done. This lack of professionalism and consideration for customers' comfort can be seen as another weakness of the establishment.
Another significant weakness mentioned by one customer is the poor customer service regarding a hair issue. The customer stated that their Senegalese twists started falling out after 12 days, but the salon refused to resolve the issue without charging an additional $60 for a touch-up. This lack of accountability and reluctance to address the problem correctly can be seen as a significant weakness in the salon's customer service.
In summary, while Best African Hair Braiding place has strengths such as friendly staff, quick service, and beautiful braids, they also have weaknesses related to pricing inconsistencies, neatness of the braids, limited hair options, lack of professionalism, and poor customer service in resolving hair issues. These weaknesses should be addressed and improved upon to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

I give this braiding shop, 2 stars which is kind of high for my experience. I was quoted one prize. Once I sat down in the chair and got my hair braided, they quoted me a totally different price because of the length of my hair.. mind you they didn’t even braid my entire head, because my hair was too short in the very back for them to grip and I was OK with that. They were friendly and very quick with braiding but what I didn’t like about my zillions they parted the parts vary widely, so it doesn’t look as neat & nice. I wasn’t particularly fond of the type of hair they use also. They also talk very loudly over the customers head while they are getting their hair done. I would advise anyone when you get your hair braided at this facility that you understand the price that you were going to pay before you sit in their chair.

$205 worth of bull. I showed a picture and asked could they do this style, yes was the answer and no they couldn’t. Don’t waste you’re money. I’m so upset.
I was quoted one price and got there and price went up by 45$!! Do not trust this place!! Please look at reviews for any business before you go there. Wish I had look at these reviews beforehand!! Just waste all my time and took off work for nothing!!
I went here on Sunday March 13 to get Sengalese twists done. They started falling out after 12 days. I have called 3 times to get the issue resolved and I continue to get the run around. She stated I would have to pay an extra $60 to get a touch up. Why? She stated because I have soft hair and she knew they would start to fall out and chose not to say anything to me about it. I would NEVER come back here! Definitely do not recommend. Why would I pay you extra when you didn’t do them correctly in the first place? Seems like a get over scam to me.
The staff is friendly and the braids came out beautiful.I recommend then, theyre the best!
