Quick Facts About Bloom Nails & Spa
Bloom Nails & Spa is a nail salon that has received mixed reviews from customers. In order to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment, we will examine the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, customers have praised the quality of the gel products used at Bloom Nails & Spa. One customer specifically mentioned that the gel was really good, indicating that the salon uses high-quality materials for their services. This is important as gel nails are known for their durability and long-lasting wear. Another positive aspect mentioned is the cleanliness of the salon. Multiple customers commented on the cleanliness and hygiene of the establishment, which is crucial for any nail salon to maintain a good reputation. Additionally, customers appreciated the location of the salon, stating that there is plenty of parking available. This convenience factor can attract customers and make it easier for them to visit the salon.
Furthermore, customers commended the professionalism and skill of the nail technicians. Several comments mentioned that the technicians knew what they were doing and did a fine job. This indicates that the salon employs trained and experienced staff who are proficient in their work. Additionally, the comment about the salon being a favorite for a mother and her daughter suggests that the salon provides a good experience for families and offers services suitable for different age groups.
On the other hand, there were several weaknesses highlighted by customers regarding Bloom Nails & Spa. One of the main issues mentioned was the longevity of the gel manicures. Multiple customers indicated that their gel manicures chipped within a week or two, which is not ideal for a long-lasting manicure. This raises concerns about the durability and quality of the gel products used by the salon. Another negative comment mentioned a botched job done by a specific nail technician, which suggests that there may be inconsistencies in the quality of service provided by different staff members. Furthermore, one customer mentioned that the nail technician shaped their nails incorrectly despite specific instructions, indicating a lack of attention to detail or miscommunication within the salon.
In addition, one customer expressed dissatisfaction with the customer service they received over the phone, stating that the staff member did not seem welcoming. This is a weakness as good customer service is essential to create a positive experience for customers and encourage repeat business. Another comment mentioned that the salon was talking about the customer, which is unprofessional and can make customers feel uncomfortable or unwelcome in the establishment.
Furthermore, there was a comment about a $10 surcharge for a new gel technology that did not provide satisfactory results. This raises concerns about the pricing policy of the salon and the value customers receive for their money. If customers are paying a premium for certain services, they expect high-quality results in return, which does not seem to be the case in this instance.
In summary, Bloom Nails & Spa has several strengths including the quality of their gel products, cleanliness of the salon, and the professionalism of the staff. However, there are also weaknesses such as the longevity of gel manicures, inconsistencies in the quality of service, issues with customer service, and concerns about pricing and value. These comments highlight areas that the salon can work on to improve the overall customer experience and address customer concerns.

UPDATE: 9/16/22 Powder gel is still the way to go here. Do not try the new chrome O.P.I. gel colors...the coloring appear splotchy and uneven and it's a $10 surcharge. I guess it's a new gel technology where they apply what looks like an eyeshadow compact powder on the nail with an eyeshadow applicator....they either need more practice using this, or this is an O.P.I. failure.
2017 review: I go here about once every 2-3 weeks. I get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I'm gonna be honest: I'm on my 3rd evaluation for this place. On 2 past occasions my gel manicure began chipping not even a week into application. So I tried the powder gel manicure this 3rd and final time. If this begins to chip withing 2 weeks, I think I will look for another nail care provider. Not sure if every single woman working there has cosmetology license or may be they are in training/apprenticeship at the salon. UPDATE: the chick painted my cuticles on my toes! Mani still ok but for the pricing and tip I provide ($80 total) I'm not pleased.
Amazing job! My first time visiting Bloom and I went in for a new set of UV gel tips. Wendy did an amazing job. I’ve been searching for a nail salon for 2 years and so glad I found Bloom.
It looked like all the nail techs knew what they were doing. I highly recommend.
It was really bad they did my feet so bad and the Nails but the gel is really good and the service is really bad and on the phone it was like the girl didn’t even want me to come I don’t recommend this place and they were talking about me
My nails look like lego blocks. They did not use fresh tools on me, nor did they clean things/ replaced them after the fell on the floor. I felt mortified by the botched job done by Anna on my nails. I will never go back there!
Was in the area and stop by for the first time to get me and my daughters pedicure and now its our favorite nail salon
Great experience.. local.. plenty of parking... clean.. price is right.. staff is awesome too..I found my new place
08/06/22Came back after being put in a wheel chair and they are great and clean and staff is still amazing never fails!! And massage was amazing
Been coming here for years. It's a decent, clean salon for a pedicure, especially if you're willing to pay extra for a spa one.
I really like this place. Their prices are average: $25 for pedicure & $12 for a manicure. They have plenty of workers & usually seem very busy but I've always been able to walk in & get taken immediately. They do a fine job & one woman just gave me a really thorough pedicure. She did, however, shape my nails square when I asked for round, but they were still good. So, hey, with masks & all maybe she didn't hear me & I can live with it. So, yes, masks & plastic dividers, I like that. And, hey, it's right near a good gym, NBD & a Dollar Tree, 2 other good places. I definitely recommend Bloom's.
