Quick Facts About Boswells Cafe

Boswells Cafe has several strengths that can be gleaned from the comments provided. Firstly, the cafe is commended for its breakfast options, with one customer specifically mentioning their late Sunday breakfast as a favorite. This suggests that Boswells Cafe serves high-quality and delicious breakfast dishes. Additionally, the staff is consistently praised for being helpful, friendly, and providing impeccable service. This dedication to customer service is likely a major strength of the cafe and contributes to its positive reputation.
Another strength highlighted in the comments is the cafe's ability to cater to dietary restrictions. One customer mentions that there was a gluten-free option available for their celiac wife, indicating that Boswells Cafe is mindful of customers with dietary needs. This demonstrates their commitment to inclusivity and providing options for all customers.
The outdoor seating area is also mentioned positively in one comment. The customer states that they were able to enjoy a good meal outside with their wheelchair-bound mother-in-law. This suggests that Boswells Cafe is wheelchair accessible and has sufficient outdoor seating for customers to enjoy their meals comfortably.
The variety of menu options is praised in one comment, with the customer mentioning that there are choices to cater to all tastes. This indicates that Boswells Cafe has a diverse menu that can appeal to a wide range of customers, further enhancing its appeal.
In terms of weaknesses, there are a few issues raised in the comments. One customer mentions that they had trouble finding a table on previous occasions. Although they were able to find a table on their most recent visit, the fact that availability can be an issue suggests that the cafe may have limited seating capacity or experiences high demand during peak hours.
Another weakness highlighted is the issue with expired vinegar for the chips. Although the manager offered to replace the chips, the fact that they had not checked the dates on the boxes and did not seem overly concerned raises concerns about the attention to detail and quality control at Boswells Cafe. This incident could be seen as a potential weakness in their operations.
Lastly, one customer mentions that the person handling the cash could have been happier. While this is a minor issue, it suggests that there may be opportunities for improvement in terms of staff engagement and customer interactions.
In conclusion, Boswells Cafe has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation, including delicious breakfast options, helpful and friendly staff, and a commitment to catering to dietary restrictions. However, there are also a few weaknesses highlighted, such as potential seating limitations, quality control issues with expired products, and opportunities for improvement in staff engagement. Overall, Boswells Cafe appears to be a popular and well-regarded establishment with room for growth and refinement.

Our favourite place for a late Sunday breakfast! Cafe is usually super busy on these days but the staff are super helpful and friendly come rain or shine and the service is impeccable. We love it!
We popped in today for lunch, because when walking past we could see this place was very popular. We wasn’t disappointed! We had a really nice breakfast and the added bonus was they had a gluten free option for my celiac wife. The coffee was also so good! Were definitely be back if we’re ever in the area!
Visited last summer with my mother in law, whose wheelchair bound and we sat outside to eat lunch that we thoroughly enjoyed, but have always had trouble finding a table since that day, today however we got lucky to find a table so again enjoyed another good meal together. I enjoyed the piri piri chicken panini whilst she enjoyed a bacon and egg bap. We hope our next visit we get lucky to find a table again
Popped in for a light lunch. I had the Chicken, Bacon and melted Mozzarella panninni with salad. It was really nice and not too expensive. It was busy for a Sunday lunch time, which means it must be good. The staff were very friendly and polite. Lots of various choices on the menu catering for all tastes. Definitely worth checking out of you are in the area.
First and not the last time for a very reasonably priced English - many other options available. This definitely not a 'Greasy Spoon'! No smells. Charming service. Great. Also plenty of room.
Had a lovely meal here, however, noticed our chips has an awful smell and taste
Turns out the vinegar expired in 08/2022
Explained to the manager, she mentioned she would get me some more and that they hadn't checked the dates on the boxes and wasn't overly concerned.
