Quick Facts About Brewery Street Shopping Centre
and greet customers. Food not great, very average.
Great place to shop in Rugeley. Has a good variety of stores and shops. Love the card shop, always find unique cards there. Also like the market, they have a nice selection of goods. However, parking can be an issue. There are limited spaces and sometimes it can be hard to find a spot. It would be great if they could expand the parking area or offer some alternative parking options.
I really enjoy visiting Brewery Street Shopping Centre. The selection of shops is great and they have some really interesting offerings. I often find unique and special items here that I can't find in larger stores or online. The atmosphere is also nice, it has a bit of an old school vibe which I appreciate. It feels like a traditional shopping centre, which is a refreshing change from the big modern malls. However, the centre could benefit from some updates and renovations. It feels a bit dated and could use a fresh look to attract more customers.
I recently visited the café in Brewery Street Shopping Centre and I was disappointed with the experience. The hygiene standards were quite poor, with staff not wearing gloves or hair nets and not practicing proper hand hygiene. This is a big concern for me, as hygiene is very important when it comes to food establishments. The customer service was also lacking. The staff were not very friendly or welcoming and could benefit from some training on how to interact with customers. The food itself was average, nothing special. Overall, I would not recommend the café and would suggest finding another place to eat in the area.
Despite the negatives, I still think Brewery Street Shopping Centre is a lovely little place. It has a charming atmosphere and there are some great shops to explore. I particularly enjoy the card shop and the market. The Christmas cards are always a highlight for me, as they have a nice selection of old-fashioned designs. I also appreciate the effort they put into creating a model Christmas town with a fair. It really adds to the festive spirit. It's a shame to hear that the centre is closing. It will be a loss for the community and I hope that something can be done to save it.
In conclusion, Brewery Street Shopping Centre has its strengths in terms of its unique offerings and old-school charm. However, there are weaknesses in terms of parking availability, outdated appearance, and poor hygiene standards in some areas. It is important for the centre to address these issues and make improvements to ensure a positive experience for visitors. Overall, I believe Brewery Street Shopping Centre has the potential to be a great place to shop and support local businesses, but there are areas that need attention and improvement.

Gut , interessant, ausgesuchte angebote . " Old School "
Shop in Brewery Street Shopping Centre most weekends whenever we come to Rugeley, especially the card shop. And we also shop in Rugeley around there. Sadly today we had a rather rude and aggressive notice left on our car about parking outside there and the £70 charge we would receive if we did not shop there, however we do and did. Congratulations on encouraging repeat visitors and shoppers to the area. We need to support our small, local traders, not drive people away to larger stores and supermarkets. No contact details on the note left and no answer on the phone number provided on internet details. I look forward to hearing from you.
Had a coffee in the cafe. Look around the market too. Love the old fashion Christmas cards. And also they had a model old Christmas town with fair. That's a Christmas I like back.
Lovely place can't believe it is closing ???? very sad.
Good for a mouch, various stores, clean and respectable
Went to the air ambulance charity shop, great shop, had a look around after, lovely little shopping centre, very inviting, draws you in. Rugeley is lovely will go again
If a reason is needed to visit Rugeley - this is it - the breakfasts, sandwiches and service are second to non. We always visit this cafe when we pass through on our narrowboat.
Can't believe the above review was four years ago - we have been back a few times since and never been daissappointed - particularly the breakfasts, absolutely scrumptious - hot, tasty and plenty of it. We'll be back again when we pass in our boat heading north.
Very poor hygiene, no gloves or hair nets. Walking straight from outside into kitchen without washing hands. And poor customer service!! Could smile
