Quick Facts About Burlington Village Laundry
The Burlington Village Laundry place has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. This analysis will explore the strengths and weaknesses of the laundromat based on the comments provided.
Beginning with the strengths, one common theme mentioned by customers is the cleanliness of the facility. Multiple comments complimented the staff for keeping the place very clean and being friendly and polite. A clean environment is crucial in a laundromat as it creates a pleasant experience for customers and ensures that their clothes remain hygienic throughout the process.
Another strength mentioned is the size and availability of machines. One customer appreciated that there were plenty of machines and space, allowing them to complete their laundry quickly without waiting in line. Having a sufficient number of machines is important as it ensures that customers can start their laundry immediately and complete it in a reasonable amount of time.
Moving on to the weaknesses, the most significant criticism revolves around the cost of using the laundromat. Several customers expressed their dissatisfaction with the high prices. One customer mentions the expensive cost of obtaining a laundry card, adding to the overall expense of doing laundry. Additionally, the cost of drying clothes is deemed too high, especially considering that some customers report that the dryers do not adequately dry their clothes within the allocated time. These high prices are seen as a disadvantage for customers who may be looking for a more affordable option.
Linked to the issue of cost is the use of laundry cards instead of coins, which is seen as an inconvenience by customers. A few comments mention the frustration of having to purchase a laundry card and not being able to use it fully. The requirement of adding more funds to the card once it reaches $1 is viewed as unnecessary and inconvenient for customers.
Another weakness that has been identified is the functionality of the dryers. Some customers mention that many of the dryers were not operational or did not work effectively, even after the installation of new machines. This can lead to frustration and delays for customers who are relying on the dryers to dry their clothes efficiently.
Lastly, one comment mentions the lack of assistance or guidance for first-time users. Although the customer was able to figure things out eventually, they mentioned that it would have been helpful if there was someone available to assist or offer help. Having staff members available to assist customers, especially those who are new to using laundromats, could enhance the overall customer experience.
In conclusion, the strengths of Burlington Village Laundry place include a clean facility and friendly staff. On the other hand, the weaknesses include high prices, the inconvenience of laundry cards, malfunctioning dryers, and a lack of assistance for first-time users. These factors should be considered by potential customers when deciding whether or not to use this laundromat.

The place is a nice looking place but it is expensive as hell to do laundry here. Cost you a dollar just to get a card to do a large load cost you $8 to dry and a good dryer cost you 75 cents for just 6 minutes and you have to use a card they don't use change here that's ridiculous.
Do not recommend. $8 for washing a load. $0.75 for 5 min of dry time. 20 mins didnt even dry the clothes in the big machines. No coins. You have to purchase a card for $1 and you can't even use it all. Once you're down to $1 you have to add more funds. Such a shame it's the only laundromat in town.
Staff is very friendly and polite and go above and beyond to help you out. They keep it very clean
My husband travels for work so we regularly use laundromats. My advice: AVOID THIS PLACE IF POSSIBLE!
#1 - the use of laundry cards is annoying.
#2 - the cost is almost twice that of a coin op laundromat in Grand Island that i had to take my clothes to because #3 - NONE of my loads came out smelling clean. HUGE waste of time and $25. The coin op in GI is less expensive (i spent $16 to wash the same amount of laundry) and my clothes came out smelling a thousand times better.
Very nice facility. It is always clean and staff friendly
Loved it at first. Only laundromat in Hastings so I was happy how big and clean it was. However most of the driers don't work. They just replaced like 18 of them. I went in for the 3rd time trying to do Laundry for the last 2 weeks and 6 driers were working. How do you not have the new driers operational after they were installed a week ago??
I am not a frequent user of laundromats, so I can't speak to whether or not the prices were fair here, but the facility was clean, machines were efficient, and there was plenty of machines and space to get done quick without waiting in line. As a first time user, with an obvious lost look on my face it would have been nice if there were someone around to help or at least offer to help. I was able to read the signs though and figure it out, just took a little longer that way.
Anyone else remember when you could do a load for less than $10? Because you still can except here. I work on the road and haven't seen the hussle of having to buy a card to pay for the $8 machine. Guess I'll hit atm again so I dry my clothes. "Good for nothin' tricksters." Clayton Bigsby
