Quick Facts About Burton Bridge Inn

The Burton Bridge Inn appears to have several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. One of the strongest highlights of the pub is its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, as mentioned by multiple reviewers. The staff are described as kind, excellent in service, and knowledgeable about local history, which adds a personal touch to the experience. The cozy and traditional British pub vibe, complete with open fires, is also praised for creating a relaxed and pleasant environment.
Another major strength of the Burton Bridge Inn is its selection of drinks. The pub is particularly known for serving some of the best real ales in the area, including their own brews from the adjacent Burton Bridge Brewery. This variety, alongside options like Carling and Thatcher's for those who prefer familiar tastes, appeals to a wide range of customers. Additionally, reviewers appreciate the emphasis on maintaining a clean and safe environment, with the staff taking necessary safety measures.
The availability of additional entertainment options at the pub is another strength mentioned in the comments. The skittles room upstairs, which can be hired out for events, offers a unique activity for visitors. Furthermore, the presence of a room with bowling and music adds to the overall entertainment value of the pub, providing more reasons for customers to enjoy their time there.
The location of the Burton Bridge Inn is also seen as advantageous. Being situated near the town center and opposite the Three Queens Hotel makes it easily accessible for both locals and tourists. Visitors appreciate the convenience of its location and consider it a great place to relax and unwind.
However, there are also a few weaknesses that are worth considering. One commenter mentions that while all the beers from Burton Bridge are decent, none of them stood out as particularly characterful. This suggests that although the pub serves good quality ales, there may be a lack of standout or unique options that would truly set it apart.
In terms of food, there is limited information provided in the comments. While it is mentioned that pub food is available, there are no specific details about the quality or variety of the menu. This could potentially be an area for improvement or further exploration.
In conclusion, the Burton Bridge Inn has several strengths that make it an appealing destination for locals and tourists alike. Its friendly and cozy atmosphere, wide selection of drinks including real ales, additional entertainment options, and convenient location all contribute to its positive reputation. However, areas like the character of the beers and the quality of the food could potentially be further developed or explored. Overall, it is a place that comes highly recommended by reviewers for those looking for a friendly and enjoyable pub experience in Burton on Trent.

Best TL Reviews

Lovely friendly little pub, plenty of choice of drink and the cobs are yummy too. They serve some of the best ales around. You can hire out the skittles room upstairs for events. I would highly recommend a visit.
Fantastic bartender Donna who will have the craic and put you on to some local history. Excellent selection of in house, cask real ales. Can't give this place a skip if you find yourself in Burton.
Very nice pub but also brewery!
They have their own beers but also Carling and Thatcher's if you don't want to try new tastes.
Moreover very clean environment and the staff are taking all the safety measures to make sure all customers are safe
Burton Bridge Inn is located opposite Three Queens Hotel and close to the town centre. So, it is good place for locals and tourists. It is a great pub where you can chill out. The atmosphere is not too loud, chilled and cozy. You do not have music here, you can focus on your conversation. Interior and outside is made with old style design, which gives you even more vibes for the night. The fireplace and interior makes you feel "like home". Upstairs there is a room with bowling and music. You can have some entertainment. The staff is very kind. You can try a good ale, especially now "Boris Bulldog" is on the market. We recommend this place as one of the best to go out in Burton on Trent.
The Burton Bridge Inn is the brewery tap of the adjacent Burton Bridge Brewery, a small, independent brewer in this real ale town. The pub has a nice atmosphere and staff are very friendly. I tried several beers from Burton bridge (both here and elsewhere in town), and while all of them are decent, none I felt was outstandingly characterful. But of course you won't get the beers any fresher than at this place, which is a little outside of the town centre. Pub food is available, too.
Great traditional British pub with real ales.Great friendly atmosphere & excellent service. Definitely worth a visit
Great beer, great traditional pub...
Lovely beer, great staff. And very relaxing with open fires.
