Quick Facts About Cafe Bread & Butter

Cafe Bread & Butter has received a range of positive and negative comments, highlighting its strengths and weaknesses. In this analysis, we will evaluate these comments and provide a comprehensive understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of Cafe Bread & Butter.
Starting with the strengths, one recurring comment is the quality of the coffee. Several customers specifically mention the cappuccino being "to die for" and "lovely." This indicates that Cafe Bread & Butter excels in providing a delicious cup of coffee, which is an essential aspect of any cafe experience. Additionally, the staff is consistently praised for being friendly, helpful, and having a wonderful memory. The fact that they remembered a customer who hadn't visited in over a year speaks highly of their customer service skills. This personal touch adds to the overall positive experience at the cafe. Another strength mentioned is the cleanliness of the establishment. Customers appreciate the spotlessly clean environment, which contributes to a pleasant and hygienic dining experience. Lastly, the availability of delivery through Deliveroo is seen as a strength. This offers convenience to customers who prefer to enjoy their meals in the comfort of their own homes or offices.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one customer expresses disappointment with the size of Cafe Bread & Butter, stating that it is "quite tiny." This can make the cafe feel crowded and overwhelmed, particularly if located near the city center where there might be a lot of noise and rush. Additionally, the advertisement of an English breakfast but the staff's inability to understand specific requests, such as a "Bacon bap," is seen as a weakness. Proper communication and understanding of customer preferences are vital to providing a satisfying dining experience. Another criticism is the lack of atmosphere. Despite the friendly staff and good food, some customers feel the cafe lacks character and ambiance, which can impact the overall enjoyment of the visit. The pricing is also mentioned as a complaint, with one customer finding it too expensive and another mentioning the price in the context of receiving small napkins. This suggests that customers are looking for more value for their money. Lastly, one customer mentions a dislike for the presentation of food on wooden boards instead of traditional plates that can be easily cleaned in a dishwasher. This preference for practicality over aesthetics may not appeal to all customers.
In summary, Cafe Bread & Butter has several strengths, including fantastic coffee, friendly and helpful staff, a spotlessly clean environment, and convenient delivery options. However, it also has some weaknesses, such as a small size leading to a potentially crowded atmosphere, communication issues with staff regarding specific orders, a lack of ambiance, pricing concerns, and the use of wooden boards for serving food. By addressing these weaknesses, Cafe Bread & Butter can further improve customer satisfaction and enhance its overall dining experience.

Lovely little cafe with cappuccino to die for. Staff so friendly and helpful and with wonderful memory. David hadn't been in for over a year and they remembered him. Spotlessly clean and you can get delivery by deliveroo. Pop in when you're near its worth it. Xx
Was going to go to a different cafe but I found it close - thanks universe!
Bread and Butter was a lovely surprise: simple and unpretentious food, nice atmosphere, this small cafe is perfect if you fancy a quick meal. I paid just under £12 for a latte and a (pretty big) oriental breakfast that came with bread on the side as well - I found it very fair, as the service was friendly and quick, they paid attention to my unusual allergies and the meal was exactly what I expected and very tasty. Sorry for no pictures: I couldn’t help digging in as soon as I got my food! The empty plate proves how much I enjoyed it.
Bread and butter cafe it's well located near the city centre. Sadly the place is quite tiny so you are overwhelmed by city jam, angry neighbors. They advertise English breakfast but the staff struggle to understand my request for a Bacon bap (aka Bacon butty, bacon sarnie, rasher sandwich, bacon cob, bacon barm, bacon muffin...you name it) but that's all right the latte coffee was great and the ciabatta bread was perfectly fine. My biggest complaint is the price and the lack of atmosphere.
We were so glad to find this little gem of a cafe during our visit to Cambridge that we visited three times over the weekend. There was a great choice of vegetarian options (halloumi, hummus and grilled vegetables baguette was amazing!). The staff were very friendly and prices very good! I’ll definitely be back when in Cambridge.
Food is fab, lovely coffee. The only bit I don't like is it's served on wooden boards and I prefer a plate that can be put in a dishwasher
I went yesterday for first time and it is nice place. The staff are super nice, I bought a coffee and piece of Baklava and the guy gave me additional two pieces on the house.
Their prices are very good too.
Very generous and tasty breakfast at a reasonable price. We had full English and Oriental breakfast and both were really good. Mushrooms, scrambled eggs and tomatoes were not runny which we liked! Coffee is good too. The waiting time might have been a bit long (15min) but the food was worth the wait. Will visit again ????????
I ordered the vegetarian breakfast, and I was deeply disappointed. The lack of seasoning, the amount of white bread (usually a choice of bread is given), and the fact that the toasts were oily, severely ruined the dish in it's entirety. And for some reason, they are quite cheap on the napkins. I got a really small one. Also, cash only? Seriously? In 2020?
