Quick Facts About Cafe Cranberry
Cafe Cranberry place has a number of strengths that make it stand out as a desirable place to visit. Firstly, many customers appreciate the lovely breakfast options available at the cafe. The food is described as delicious and the tastebuds are treated well. This indicates that the cafe puts a lot of effort into creating tasty and enjoyable dishes. Additionally, the service at Cafe Cranberry place is quick and efficient. Customers have commented on the friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure that nothing is too much trouble. This friendly and welcoming attitude helps to create a positive and inviting atmosphere for customers.
The cafe is also described as being cosy and fabulous. The decoration, although getting a bit tired, is still considered to be cosy. This suggests that the cafe has a charming and comfortable ambiance that many customers appreciate. The cosy atmosphere helps to create a warm and relaxing environment, which is often sought after when visiting cafes. Additionally, the cafe is described as being very clean, which is an important aspect for many customers when choosing a place to dine.
Furthermore, Cafe Cranberry place is considered to be a family business. Many customers appreciate supporting local and independent establishments, and by being a family-owned business, the cafe adds a personal touch to the overall experience. The fact that the cafe is run by a friendly family is a positive aspect that resonates with many customers.
However, there are also weaknesses that have been mentioned by customers in their comments. One major weakness is the change in decor that has left the cafe feeling less homely and cosy. The plain grey walls, dirty tablecloths, and dark wooden paneling have taken away from the charm that the cafe originally had. This change in decor may make some customers feel less inclined to visit or may give them a negative impression of the cafe.
Another weakness mentioned is the change in the menu. Some customers were disappointed that they were unable to order their usual dishes due to the menu change. This can be a drawback for regular customers who visit the cafe for specific items that are no longer available. Having a limited menu or changing the menu too frequently can potentially alienate customers who have come to enjoy particular dishes.
In addition, there were complaints about the quality of ingredients used in the dishes. One customer mentioned that the price was high, but the quality of the ingredients was low. This can be a major drawback for customers who value high-quality ingredients in their meals.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the lack of attention to detail in some aspects of the dining experience. For example, the customer was disappointed that there was no choice of butter or margarine for toast, only margarine. This lack of options can be seen as a negative point for customers who prefer different choices for their toast toppings.
Furthermore, there were concerns about the value for money at Cafe Cranberry place. One customer felt that the price they paid was too high for the quality and quantity of food they received. This can be a significant weakness for customers who expect a certain level of value for the price they pay. If customers feel that they are not getting their money's worth, they may be less likely to return to the cafe.
Overall, Cafe Cranberry place has strengths such as lovely breakfast options, quick service, and a friendly staff, which contribute to its positive reputation. However, there are weaknesses such as the change in decor, menu, and issues with ingredient quality and value for money that may hinder customers' overall satisfaction with the cafe.

Lovely breakfast, quick service & great staff
Sadly, this lovely, homely, cozy cafe was redecorated and doesn't feel as such any longer. Plain grey walls, dirty table clothes then get turned over after use, and dark wooden panelling.
Menu had changed so was unable to order my usual.
3 stars simply because the waitress we know was still there and she is lovely. Also milkshake was late to come but still yummy.
Fabulous cosy cafe, very friendly staff, food and service the best.
Very welcoming and friendly family, making delicious food!! A treat to the tastebuds during lockdown and would definitely recommend and go again :) A lovely family business :~)
Lovely cafe, and nice people that run it. Nothing was too much trouble, food good, and the ???? cakes Yum yum ????
I just took my wife for breakfast here and was left dissapointed. It is the first time I have been since the change of ownership and the price was high but the quality of ingredients was low..
The good bits:
1. Cosy decoration (albeit getting a bit tired)
2. Good Americano
3. Good poached egg (provided you like it runny which I do)
The not so good bits:
1. My wife asked for poached egg and beans on a muffin. Unfortunately it was an aldi bap rather than a breakfast muffin (although the packet did say oven bottom muffins). Staff were quite challenging/dismissive about the existence of a breakfast muffin to the extent that if i didn't buy a pack every week I would have doubted whether they existed.
2. Beans were the cheapest variety, no real sauce. Surely saving a few pence per serving isn't worth it.
3. I had the 'Full Welsh breakfast' which was an English breakfast. Either make a proper Welsh breakfast or just call it an English breakfast.
4. I would expect the ingredients for a Full Breakfast to cost around 30% of the price. Here the price was £6.70 and i would estimate the ingredients cost just over £1.
5. Sausages were reheated and as it was 9am i would assume they were from the day before.
6. No choice of butter or margarine for toast just margarine.
My wife swapped her toasted bap for a teacake as she doesn't like runny eggs, the beans were poor and the muffin was a soggy bap. The teacake was okay but we were charged for both.
Price:
For £16.35 we had:
1 black Americano
1 small orange juice
1 egg and beans muffin (replaced with teacake)
1 Full 'Welsh' breakfast
If the quality was better I would have been happy with the price but i would say you could get a similar standard for about £10.
I won't be returning here which is a shame as i try to support independent outlets on the high street as far as possible. I was apprehensive about trying this cafe since the ownership change but positive reviews on here persuaded me to give it a go which is why i have decided to put this review on.
