Quick Facts About China One
China One is a Chinese restaurant that has mixed reviews when it comes to their food. Some customers find that the food can be hit or miss, with dishes like the peppered beef not being great. However, others have had a positive experience and enjoy the food. One customer mentions that the orange chicken was good, and another customer praises the won ton soup for having a significant amount of won tons and the mu shu for using actual Chinese pancakes instead of tortillas.
For those who prioritize consistency and accuracy in their Chinese takeout, China One seems to be a great option. One customer mentions that they have tried several Chinese carryout places in the area, but this one stands out as the best. The food is consistently hot, fresh, and accurate. They mention ordering a variety of dishes such as hunan dishes, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, wings, fried rice dishes, and dumplings and have been satisfied with all of them. Based on their experience, they would highly recommend China One.
Another positive aspect of China One is its efficiency and convenience. One customer mentions that it is a small place specializing in takeout. They have been there three times and each time the orders were ready fast, the portions were generous, and the food was exactly what they were craving. This suggests that China One is a reliable option when you want quick and satisfying Chinese food.
On the downside, one customer mentions that China One can sometimes be popular and therefore super busy, resulting in slower service. However, once they got their order, they found that everything was pretty dang good. They specifically mention the huge egg rolls and extra spicy General Tso's chicken. It seems that China One offers options for those who prefer spicier dishes and larger portions.
Unfortunately, there are also negative reviews of China One's food. One customer placed a to-go order and found the food to be bad. They mention that the chicken wings were dry and the egg rolls tasted off. Their wife also had a negative experience with the chicken lo mein, stating that it was "gross." This suggests that the quality of the food at China One can be inconsistent and may not always meet customers' expectations.
Despite the mixed reviews of the food, another positive aspect of China One is its affordability. One customer mentions that the prices are great, and they appreciate the very large portion sizes. They specifically highlight the tenderness of the beef used in the rice and lo mein dishes, which they find superior to other Chinese restaurants in the area. This makes China One a go-to option for them when they want a quick and tasty dinner.
In conclusion, China One has its strengths and weaknesses. On the positive side, it offers convenient and efficient takeout, with a variety of dishes that can be satisfying when they hit the mark. It also provides generous portion sizes at an affordable price. However, there are inconsistencies in the quality of the food, as some customers have had negative experiences with certain dishes. The key is to explore the menu and try different plates to find what suits your taste.

Food is hit and miss. Had the peppered beef and the orange chicken. Orange chicken was good and pepper beef was not great. I’m assuming if you try different plates you can figure out what’s good.
The food here is great! The won ton soup has a significant amount of won tons in it. The mu shu comes with actual chinese pancakes instead of the tortillas I've seen other places. I'm so glad that I tried China One and this is definitely my go-to place for Chinese food!!
I have tried several Chinese carry out places since being in this area, and this one has been the best by far. There are other Chinese restaurants closer to my home but we choose this one because the food is consistently hot, fresh, and accurate. We alternate what we order between hunan dishes, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, wings, fried rice dishes, and dumplings. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Small place specializing in takeout. I've been 3 times before leaving this review and every time they have been consistently good. Orders are ready fast, portions are generous, and the food is always exactly what you were craving. Expect a no-frills, casual spot, that leaves you full and satisfied.
they are either popular and super busy or a little slow on making the food but once we got it everything was pretty dang good. they have huge egg rolls and I ordered extra spicy general tsos and you could tell it was a level higher than the normal sweet chicken dish
Placed a to go order, food was bad, chicken wings were really dry, the egg rolls tasted off…. I asked my wife what hers tasted like (chicken lo me in) and her response was “gross”. Food didn’t taste like you would expect it to.
Great food at great prices prepared quickly, and a very convenient location. I like to order then go next door to food lion to shop for a few things that I need anyway, and on the way out just swing next door to grab my order. The portion sizes are also very large, the beef they use in the rice and lo mein is very tender and not gristly/fatty as it is in many other locations. This is my go-to location for a quick and tasty dinner time and time again.
Have the best vegetable lo mein. I've tried many different restaurants.
