Quick Facts About China Wok

China Wok is a mom and pop takeout Chinese place that has its strengths and weaknesses, as evidenced by the comments above. One of its strengths is its affordability. Many customers noted that the price was reasonable for the amount of food they received. The portions are described as hefty and large, which allows customers to easily feed two people with one main course. This is seen as a positive aspect, especially for those looking for value for money.
The traditional and delicious taste of the food is also praised by some customers. They mention that the flavors of their chosen dishes, such as General Tso's Chicken and Orange Chicken, were satisfying and lived up to their expectations. These customers appreciate the fact that they found a local Chinese restaurant that truly offers "New York Style" Chinese food.
Another strength mentioned by some customers is the Wonton soup. They highly recommend it, indicating that it is a standout dish at China Wok. This positive review of the soup suggests that the establishment excels in preparing certain dishes that are worth trying.
On the other hand, China Wok also has its weaknesses. One recurring complaint is the lack of flavor in some dishes. Some customers mention that the beef and chicken tasted the same and lacked any distinct flavor. This suggests that the overall taste profile of the dishes may be underwhelming for some customers.
Another weakness mentioned is the inconsistency in taste and quality. While some customers had positive experiences with the food, others found it to be just average or even unpleasant. This inconsistency may suggest a lack of attention to detail or varying levels of skill in the kitchen. This could be a drawback for those seeking a consistently satisfying dining experience.
Customer service also seems to be an area of weakness. One customer mentions that it took a long time for their order to be taken, and another states that they had a negative experience when trying to get a refund for a dish they found disgusting. These instances reflect poor customer service, which can be off-putting to customers and discourage them from returning.
Overall, China Wok has its strengths in terms of affordability, portion sizes, and some positive reviews of certain dishes like the Wonton soup. However, it also has weaknesses such as inconsistent taste and quality, lack of flavor in some dishes, and poor customer service. These factors should be taken into consideration when deciding whether to dine at China Wok.

Best TL Reviews

It was alright, it eats and is a solid ok for takeout. The dumplings had little flavor bland and mushy texture. The noodles was the favorite of offerings, ot was the house special lo mein. The small human had the beef and broccoli, meat was alright, broccoli had some crunch, rice was kind of bland but salty. I had the sesame chicken was again was ok a bit soggy for my taste with the coating by the time we got back to our lodging, I agreed with kiddo that rice was bland but salty to my tongue. Over all not terrible for the price being a mom n pop takeout Chinese place. It ate and was ok, if going back I would get lo mein.
Very traditional and delicious Chinese food. Their serving portions are hefty and worth the price. You can easily feed two people on one "main course." I ordered General Tsos Chicken and my husband ordered Orange Chicken. We were both pleased with the flavor of our choices - and we had leftovers for dinner the following night! ???? As northeasterners, we are pleased to have found a local Chinese restaurant that not only boasts "New York Style" but actually lives up to the hype!
Gross, beef and chicken taste the same???? absolutely no flavor. Fried wings were disgusting and yellow. A waste of my money. Never going back. Rice is gummy. Egg rolls had big pieces of carrots. I guess everyone’s taste is different and from the reviews people eat anything.
After purchasing a sesame seed chicken and tasting it, it was disgusting!!!!!! It tasted spoiled. So I took it back and showed them the entire plate wasn't touched but a bite and they refused to refund my purchase.
Great food & the portions are huge for the price. For those that like Wonton soup, I highly recommend it.
Like a lot of restaurants suffering from the pandemic, this particular China Wok has went slightly downhill. Food is now just ok. About what you would expect from any take out chinese food place. Nothing special. Portions are of good size, prices have went up a good bit, but the so has basically everything else too. Just wish the food was a bit more consistent as far as taste and quality. Seems to be a hit or a miss.
Took 15 minutes for anyone to answer phone and was put on hold and disconnected. Took another 10 to place order. I waited cause food always great
Excellent food. Large amount of food for price. Always fresh and hot
